Ask your local office for an invite. There's some chance that they won't check your name against a blackball list. If your pic is hanging on the wall, never mind. :D

Predictable. It's the Era of Blame.

Interesting that is might have been an honest mistake. Not sure how to feel about that. I wanted it to be a brilliant intentional dis, but what a fabulous coincidence that a mocking seal would actually end up backstopping 45SHOLE. The creator must be over the moon.

I wonder if a 45SHOLE staffer will also get fired. Ultimately, it's their failing to allow this to happen.

Fed up: Man who doctored Trump’s Turning Point seal is a Republican who’s sick of the president

On Thursday, the Washington Post revealed the origins of the fake presidential seal that President Donald Trump unknowingly stood in front of for nearly an hour at an event organized by the GOP youth group Turning Point USA.
"an hour"
It was originally created in the aftermath of the 2016 presidential election by Charles Leazott, a graphic designer and ex-Republican who renounced his party after Trump was nominated and created the fake logo to vent his feelings of being “fed up” with him.
Perfect. Will 'Fed up Man' become a meme?
The logo substitutes the American bald eagle for the eagle on the seal of Russia, replaces “E. Pluribus Unum” with “45 is a puppet” in Spanish, replaces the stars on the shield with hammers and sickles, and gives the eagle a stack of golf clubs and a pile of cash.
:D I don't think our earlier articles mentioned the hammer and sickle stars or the cash.

Maybe not an innocent coincidence:
Turning Point USA say they have fired the staffer who was responsible for dredging up the image and putting it on screen behind Trump, but insist that it was probably an honest mistake. Leazott believes that it wasn’t, and that it would have taken a deliberate effort to obtain that image.
Might Turning Point USA be lying, and has it somehow threatened/bribed the staffer into not revealing intentional sabotage?

The new Presidential seal: ...
Thanks, I've already shared this uber-sharp image.

Different article about the creator:
Ex-Republican Who Doctored Presidential Seal Is Happy Trump Stood In Front Of It

... But the man who created the doctored, satirical seal has only kind words for whoever pulled the stunt.

“I love them,” said Charles Leazott, a former Republican and graphic designer who was tracked down by The Washington Post on Thursday....

The designer said he couldn’t be sure whether the person who chose his graphic was “wildly incompetent or the best troll ever,” but suspects the explanation given by the conservative group Turning Point USA, which hosted Trump, is nonsense. Turning Point said the seal ended up onscreen due to a last-minute error in finding a high-resolution image to project behind the president.

“You have to look for this,” Leazott told the newspaper. “There’s no way this was an accident, is all I’m saying.”

Turning Point managed to display an accurate representation of the presidential seal later during the president’s 80-minute speech.
Ah, someone did notice during the speech. That must be a hilarious side note, itself.
... “Whoever put that up is my absolute hero,” he told the Post.

Protests, no-shows, and a Baby Trump blimp greet the president in two grief-stricken cities

The notorious, orange-haired Baby Trump blimp, surrounded by sign-waving demonstrators, greeted President Donald Trump Wednesday during his visit to a Dayton hospital in the wake of a devastating weekend shooting.

It took only 24 hours for two organizers to raise more than $3,000 to bring the protest blimp to Miami Valley Hospital....

In Dayton, the diapered caricature of the president that has appeared in anti-Trump events from London to Texas, carried a sign saying, "Stop being a baby. Stand up to the NRA!"

Protesters carried placards that included "Do Something," "Just say No to Fascism," and "Protect kids, not guns."

Carina Dani and Megan Baxter organized the GoFundMe blimp campaign "so we can get Baby Trump and give our President the welcome he deserves." Additional funds were earmarked for victims of the shooting....

In El Paso, site of the other weekend mass shooting, the tone of a planned protest rally was set by the area's member of congress, Rep. Veronica Escobar, D- Texas, who refused to meet with Trump until he called her first to discuss the tragedy. The White House declined.

Mayor Dee Margo said he would show up for the Trump visit to honor the office of president, not the occupant.

Instead of meeting the president, Escobar planned to join with the Border Network for Human Rights and Women's March El Paso at a protest rally near the University Medical Center, where Trump was expected to meet with survivors of Saturday's shooting.

Image

Within hours, hundreds of people signed an online petition posted by medical workers at UMC. “Given President Trump’s rhetoric on immigration, we believe that a visit to our medical campus will be harmful for both the families affected and medical teams caring for those families,” it said.

Lisa Moore, an obstetrician with privileges at two area hospitals, said she signed the petition because she worries the president has “created an environment of fear,” especially for her Hispanic colleagues, in the wake of a shooting that specifically targeted people of Hispanic descent.

The protest mood facing the president was echoed by a Facebook posting from Cassandra Hernandez, the city council member representing the neighborhood where the shooting occurred. It was directed at Trump, saying he was not welcome "because you have dehumanized Hispanics and immigrants."

... In Dayton, about 50 protesters gathered outside city hall Tuesday to chant "do something!" and to call on Mayor Nan Whaley to tell the president not to visit the city.

“The city needs to heal right now. We are so stressed,” said one of the protesters, Megan Fiely, the Dayton Daily News reported. “We’re not a photo opportunity for Trump.”

Whaley said she would greet the president, but added that his “rhetoric has been painful for many in our community and I think people should stand up and say they are not happy if they are not happy he’s coming.”

Anderson Cooper calls video of Trump bragging about El Paso crowd size ‘completely pathetic’

On Thursday, Anderson Cooper opened AC360 with a blistering critique of President Trump’s ability to make the Dayton and El Paso hospital visits on Wednesday ‘all about him.’ Following Wednesday’s El Paso stop, a local news station tweeted a cell phone video of the president boasting to a full hospital room about the crowd size at one of his recent El Paso rallies. To which Anderson said, “I gave the president the benefit of the doubt. Surely I thought when the cameras weren't present he must have properly consoled survivors, praised first responders, praised hospital and surely he wouldn't try to puff himself in front of those heroes. Well, according to a new piece of video today, I was wrong,”

While discussing with David Axelrod, Anderson added, “He’s yammering on about crowd sizes. It’s, I would say unbelievable, but it's completely believable and it's completely pathetic.”

The crowd boasting video was just one of many issues with Trump’s hospital visits. Between stops in Dayton and El Paso, Trump surprised Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley and Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown with a few critical tweets. The president also blasted the media coverage of his trips. There were also two Trump aids that anonymously claimed the visits 'didn't go as planned.’ “On a trip so a pair of grieving cities that saw a combined 31 people slaughtered, let's never forget who the real victim is,“ Anderson sarcastically commented.

... Anthony Scarramucci, called the visits a 'catastrophe' on Hardball with Chris Matthews. And while 'The Mooch' questioned the two Trump aides that anonymously criticized the president's trip, he went on record with a similar stance. "He did not do well on the trip because if the trip is being made about him and not the demonstration of compassion and love and caring and empathy for those people, then it becomes a catastrophe for him.," Said Scrarramucci.
Comments:
Let me tell you....my crowd of adoring, ok, it was a love fest of victims that felt lucky, they felt truly lucky to be there at that moment. My crowd of victims was bigger than any crowd of victims that never, let's face it, wanted to meet with Obama. One of the wonderful moments of my life. And my life is the best. If you look, many people have compared my life to the greats of all time. God bless my good fortune.
Don't forget that none of the victims who were actually in the (El Paso) hospital wanted to see Trump, and told the nursing staff not to let him into their rooms. That's right, all of the victims who are still in the hospital refused to see Donald Trump. I can't blame them one bit.
Imagine if Obama went to comfort the victims of a tragedy, then bragged about the crowd size. Conservatives would never let us forget it for a million years. But when Trump does it, they just insult whoever told them about it, and love Trump even more.
I love myself, I think I'm grand, I go to the movies just to hold my hand!--trump theme song!
no one else will hold it, unless they're paid.

The “genius” who hides his college grades.
The “businessman” who bankrupted 3 casinos and lost over $1B in 10 years.
The “playboy” who pays for sex.
The “Christian” who doesn’t go to church.
The “philanthropist” who defrauds charity.
The “patriot” who dodged the draft”
The “innocent man” who refuses to testify

Trump Translator:
"Many People have told me" = Voices in my head and fictional people have complimented me.
"A lot of people don't know" = I just learned something most people already knew.
"Believe me" = I just lied.
"In Fact" = I'm about to lie.
"He's a great guy" = I will deny ever knowing this person after they begin to tell the truth about me.
"MAGA" = Making my pockets fatter off the American tax payers.
"Nobody knew" = Everyone knew except me.
"Huge" = moderate to below average in size.
"Loser" = someone who makes me feel inferior due to their talent or accomplishments.
"Policy Briefing" = Turning on Fox News.
"Liar" = Someone telling the truth about me
Only Trump could visit the victims of a mass shooting carried out by his supporter and inspired by his words and feel absolutely no empathy, no responsibility and make himself the victim.

Cruel, indeed...

"The potential commutation of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich's federal prison sentence has been put on hold amid White House officials' fears of public pushback, sources say.

Two sources told Fox News that on Thursday, Blagojevich, 62, made it to processing for his discharge from a federal prison in Littleton, Colo. However, a commutation was put on hold after a Trump administration official became concerned about opposition to the idea, which the president said he was "seriously" considering."

Writer Predicts Humiliating Fox News-Related Way It Will End For Donald Trump
Windsor Mann envisions Trump dialing into “Fox & Friends,” only to have his calls completely ignored.

Donald Trump’s presidency will end in disgrace with his staunchest defenders turning on him, a writer has predicted in a blistering new opinion piece.

Windsor Mann envisioned the hosts of Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” ignoring Trump’s calls into the show in the article published by The Week on Wednesday. Trump is forced to just leave voicemails for anchor Steve Doocy’s assistant intern, Mann suggested.

“Trump’s post-presidency will be sadder and more pathetic than his presidency,” wrote Mann, the author of “The Quotable Hitchens: From Alcohol to Zionism.”

“His presidential library will be neither presidential nor a library. His memoir, if someone writes one for him, will be dreadful — ghostwritten, poorly written, replete with falsehoods and errors, and bereft of insights and useful information,” he added.

Check out the article here.

Mann also used Twitter on Wednesday to troll evangelicals who think God put Trump into the White House “for a reason.” “Maybe the reason is to teach us a lesson,” he suggested. “Don’t ever do this again.”
The full Op/Ed is worth the read, it's not too long.

Plus, Trumpettes will throw away their MAGA hats, scrape any bumper sticker remnants for their vehicles, and deny ever having voted for POSPOTUS. Cowardly Repug polls will whine that they were somehow opposing POSPOTUS “quietly from the inside”.

The Washington Post Fact Checker must have been on vacation beginning in early June, now updated:

After the election, I felt pretty sure a lot of people lied in polls about voting for trump; it's the only thing I can come up with to explain why virtually all the polls were wrong in 16. I expect the same, or more of it, next year. I mean, I would not admit having voted for this moron.
