Wimpy straw man, typical when you're floundering. There are no "links and such" at issue, just the conversation that you quoted, I then cited, and you are too stupid to comprehend or too cowardly to acknowledge.

Let them all go wherever the hell they want to go and whatever the hell they want to do. Boo-hoo, at least your hubby is collecting unemployment and sorry lady, a hairdresser won't help.
Anyway, the big trend now is complaining about the lockdown. Saying just let everyone her infected to achieve herd immunity. Saying the response we've had is too much. Sharing memes insinuating that almost any death now is being attributed to the corona virus.

Better yet, block their cars from going to be ER ,like they did to that ambulance.

Please enjoy this:
We finally have some clarity...
The (un)official Coronavirus guidelines:
1. You MUST NOT leave the house for any reason, but if you have a reason, you can leave the house
2. Masks are useless at protecting you against the virus, but you may have to wear one because it can save lives, but they may not work, but they may be mandatory, but maybe not
3. Shops are closed, except those shops that are open
4. You must not go to work but you can get another job and go to work
5. You should not go to the Drs or to the hospital unless you have to go there, unless you are too poorly to go there
6. This virus can kill people, but don’t be scared of it. It can only kill those people who are vulnerable or those people who are not vulnerable people. It’s possible to contain and control it, sometimes, except that sometimes it actually leads to a global disaster
7. Gloves won't help, but they can still help so wear them sometimes or not
8. STAY HOME, but it's important to go out
9. There is no shortage of groceries in the supermarkets, but there are many things missing. Sometimes you won’t need loo rolls but you should buy some just in case you need some
10. The virus has no effect on children except those children it effects
11. Animals are not affected, but there is still a cat that tested positive in Belgium in February when no one had been tested, plus a few tigers here and there…
12. Stay 2 metres away from tigers (see point 11)
13. You will have many symptoms if your get the virus, but you can also get symptoms without getting the virus, get the virus without having any symptoms or be contagious without having symptoms, or be non contagious with symptoms...
14. To help protect yourself you should eat well and exercise, but eat whatever you have on hand as it's better not to go out shopping
15. It's important to get fresh air but don't go to parks but go for a walk. But don’t sit down, except if you are old, but not for too long or if you are pregnant or if you’re not old or pregnant but need to sit down. If you do sit down don’t eat your picnic
16. Don’t visit old people but you have to take care of the old people and bring them food and medication
17. If you are sick, you can go out when you are better but anyone else in your household can’t go out when you are better unless they need to go out
18. You can get restaurant food delivered to the house. These deliveries are safe. But groceries you bring back to your house have to be decontaminated outside for 3 hours including Pizza...
19. You can't see your older mother or grandmother, but they can take a taxi and meet an older taxi driver
20. You are safe if you maintain the safe social distance when out but you can’t go out with friends or strangers at the safe social distance
21. The virus remains active on different surfaces for two hours ... or four hours... six hours... I mean days, not hours... But it needs a damp environment. Or a cold environment that is warm and dry... in the air, as long as the air is not plastic
22. Schools are closed so you need to home educate your children, unless you can send them to school because you’re not at home. If you are at home you can home educate your children using various portals and virtual class rooms, unless you have poor internet, or more than one child and only one computer, or you are working from home. Baking cakes can be considered maths, science or art. If you are home educating you can include household chores within their education. If you are home educating you can start drinking at 10am
23. If you are not home educating children you can also start drinking at 10am
24. The number of corona related deaths will be announced daily but we don't know how many people are infected as they are only testing those who are almost dead to find out if that's what they will die of… the people who die of corona who aren’t counted won’t be counted
25. You should stay in locked down until the virus stops infecting people but it will only stop infecting people if we all get infected so it’s important we get infected and some don’t get infected
26. You can join your neighbours for a street party and turn your music up for an outside disco and your neighbours won’t call the police. People in another street are allowed to call the police about your music
27. No business will go down due to Coronavirus except those businesses that will go down due to Coronavirus

Re: Social Distancing 1A
The idiot Trumpette protestors are getting lots of media, but:
I wonder if there will be a spike in protestor illness and death. We may never hear about it. They're still a small percentage of any state's population and they and their families will likely suffer their tragedies in private.Poll: Majority fear coronavirus restrictions will be lifted too soon
More Americans are fearful that the pandemic will directly affect them.
Almost 60 percent of American voters are worried that lifting restrictions too soon will lead to a spike in coronavirus cases and deaths.
According to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Sunday, 58 percent of registered voters expressed concern about a loosening of restrictions, as compared with 32 percent who worried that the restrictions would stay in place for too long. Three percent said they were concerned about both scenarios.
There were partisan divides on the topic, some of which have been reflected in recent protests around the nation in places like Ohio and Michigan. While a clear majority of Democrats (77 percent) and independents (57 percent) are more worried about the coronavirus, Republicans are very much divided on the issue— with 48 percent expressing more concern about the economy and 39 percent more worried about the pandemic. Different states, of course, have different restrictions, some much stricter than others....
President Donald Trump’s approval rating was 46 percent, with 51 percent saying they disapprove of the job he’s doing. Those numbers are unchanged from last month’s poll and consistent with his numbers in the NBC/WSJ polls this year.
(and according to TV news exactly the same as April 2019, pre impeachment and pandemic)
The president’s numbers lagged in another key area: Those polled also said they favor presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden over Trump by margin of 49-42. And 45 percent of those polled said they believed that Trump has not handled the pandemic crisis well — and is still not doing so.
Those polled also expressed limited trust in what the president has had to say about the ongoing health crisis, particularly in relation to other authorities.
More than two-thirds of those polled (69 percent) said they trusted the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention to provide accurate information about the coronavirus, followed by their state’s governor (66%), Dr. Anthony Fauci (60%), New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (46%), Trump (36%), Vice President Mike Pence (35%) and Biden (26%).
A total of 52 percent said they distrusted what Trump has to say on the subject, followed by Pence (37%) and Biden (29%). A mere 8 percent said they did not trust Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Interesting math-based analysis of infection risk:
https://medium.com/@EverydayDataScience ... dcae2746c0
Bottom line - SIX feet, not four; don't touch anything unnecessary; don't touch your face; wash your hands; wear mask.
Nothing new, but each aspect of protection is shown valid.

Re: Social Distancing 1A
So I loaded the G-Pay app with the intent of being able to wave my mobile at the check-out and not touch anything. Ummm, not quite. Both times I've used it, I've had to either (1) input a PIN, thus touching the pad; or (2) answer something else like "How many bags used?" requiring a touch. If I use a credit card, I can slide in in the pad without touching anything, and no PIN required. What is the advantage to the G-Pay?
When I installed it, the app said it "may occasionally require a PIN for large purchase" but these were both under $100 and it wanted a PIN 2/2. Maybe it's just because I did just start using it and it's a means of verifying that it's me? Anybody else use this? It matters because the app requires me to keep my mobile locked, which is a pain in the ass if I'm not getting any advantage to the G-Pay.

Duval and St. Johns Counties, where that beach is (Duval) have about 1,000 reported cases and about 20 deaths. Given that the actual number of cases is considered to be way above the official reports, that one can be infected with no symptoms, and that one can transmit virus before symptoms, what are the chances nobody out there in that crowd is infected?Vrede too wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 11:34 pmO Really wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 10:27 pmFunny tweets from #FloridaMorons

Just guessing, but I'd say 1%. Looking at some possibly unrelated numbers, it looks like Duval/St. Johns have a fairly low reported rate, about .01% (1,000 out of 1mill) and assuming it's at least 10 times that for actual number (some have guessed at 50 times reported), that would be the 1%. A lot of the infected are going to be sick, though, and not go out to the beach, but a lot more either (a) have no symptoms or (b) don't think whatever symptoms they have are corvid; or (c) think even if they have corvid it's not bad enough to infect. So if there were 500 people on the beach, and at least 5 of them were actively infected, they could definitely do some damage over the course of an hour or so interacting with the crowd. If each of the 5 only manages to infect two people in their hour, then we have 10 cases wandering back out into the city. If those happen to have jobs where they interact with people, they start getting a cluster.Vrede too wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 12:04 amWhat are the chances that 1%, 5%, 10% or more in that crowd are infected or carriers?O Really wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2020 11:45 pmDuval and St. Johns Counties, where that beach is (Duval) have about 1,000 reported cases and about 20 deaths. Given that the actual number of cases is considered to be way above the official reports, that one can be infected with no symptoms, and that one can transmit virus before symptoms, what are the chances nobody out there in that crowd is infected?
That may not sound like much, but if you consider the New York mess was started by one guy who went to his synagogue and then rode the subway into the city, passed through Grand Central, and went to work at his law firm.
