Ha, yeah that was a little extreme, wasn't it. But when all the teams you've followed in your lifetime have been traitors, sleazebags, or just plain crappy, and you're down to one to root for each week, the hatchet seems appropriate. I need to pick better teams. Out of Iggles, team formerly known as 'Skins, Baltimore team formerly known as Colts, Dolphins, Panthers - nobody still worthy. I do like the Brady Bay Bucs, I suppose. It's not that I would quit being a fan of a team just because of a bad season, but really, most teams seem to no longer do much to encourage loyalty. Trading top players, dumping popular coaches, moving, yada. A letter to the San Diego paper last week complained about all the coverage given to the traitor Chargers and noted with some bitterness - it's not they even want to be our team anymore.

I've still got Baltimore, but "my" other teams are mediocre or suck.O Really wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 10:46 amHa, yeah that was a little extreme, wasn't it. The Brady Bay Bucs have problems, more lying COVIDiots:
There's a lot more trashing Brown, apparently with cause.Antonio Brown was suspended after acting dangerously and selfishly. In other words, like himself
You'd think Antonio Brown might learn his lesson this time, but if past is precedent, he won't.
Because yet again, thanks to his own arrogance, selfishness and general disdain for people he hires to do work for him, he has landed himself in trouble.
And it's costing him a hell of a lot more than it would have had he simply settled the debt a former employee says Brown owes him.
This is who Antonio Brown is. He's an egotistical louse, a deadbeat, someone accused multiple times of domestic violence and sexual assault and impropriety. And because he can catch a football he has been given chance after chance by NFL teams, all of his inexcusable behavior magically overlooked because he's talented or had the right person vouch for him....
The NFL announced Thursday evening that Brown and teammate Mike Edwards have each been suspended three games without pay because they misrepresented their vaccination status; a third player, John Franklin III, most recently with Tampa Bay but currently a free agent, will also be suspended three games if he signs with another team.
And why did these suspensions come about?
In part, it seems, because Brown reportedly stiffed his former live-in chef and the chef told a reporter in Tampa that the vaccine card Brown presented to the Buccaneers was very likely fake, triggering an investigation.
Getting the vaccine: free.
Amount Brown allegedly owed chef Steven Ruiz: $10,000.
Cost of missing three game checks and three bonus checks for not being active in those games: over $330,000.
The stupidity: priceless....
In the eyes of the league and the union, the difference between Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers and Brown is that the Packers knew Rodgers was not vaccinated against COVID. While Rodgers misrepresented his status to the public through his statements to media and maskless news conferences, he was honest with his team and followed nearly all of the protocols set forth. Brown was not....

Brown should be trashed at every available opportunity.
The idea of him getting through an entire season without stepping on his crank is laughable.
Stiffing his chef?
Fuck 'em.

Brady - Gronk.
It's not a thrilling matchup like Chicago vs 9-2 Arizona.
First ever 3-8 team to become SB Champ!

Pretty strong Cincinnati is a Ravens' divisional rival, hence I'm rooting for the LA Traitors. Otherwise, I don't care about either team.

Ravens lose 19-20 on a barely missed 2pt try at the end. Good thing Cincy lost.
Also GO:
@Las Vegas 6-5 > Washington 5-6.
Awww close, 15-17.
@LA Rams 7-4 > Jacksonville 2-9.
Rams stomped them.
Seahawks came back from 14-23 to beat SF (6-6) 30-23 after a walkoff goal line stand. Adrian Peterson was irrelevant. Both teams may be done.Vrede too wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 2:56 pmSeahawks activate Adrian Peterson from practice squad for game vs. 49ersGoCubsGo wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 9:31 pm... no worries, the savior of your season has arrived!

Are the Mannings restricting themselves or are big, tough active football players really superstitious cowards?
