Conservative Frum explains why Republicans lost

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

to be stupid. Once again. you people source the wrong pundit.
You sound stupid, ignorant, gullible, and misinformed enough to be a Limbaugh fan, Parsley.

Frum is a conservative. Anyone who believes that he is a RINO or a liberal has to be stupid.

Source the wrong pundit? From a clown who believes on discredited, revisionist "historian" trumps all.

You're simply incapable of judging the validity of sources.

Agreed. So I probably shouldn't mention that Frum is a fellow Canadian and a distant cousin of economist Paul Krugman. His sister is a Canadian senator. His mother was pretty much an institution in Canadian political journalism. His father-in-law is also pretty much an institution in Canadian journalism, on the right. (The Sun chain, AKA Faux News North.)

And since some here subscribe to conspiracy theories, I probably shouldn't mention that his father-in-law was standing next to Jack Ruby when Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald. Really.

their attempt at voter suppression pissed a lot of people off - it was so typical con - not the least bit of understanding of the potential consequences of their actions

kinda like, "the iraqi people will love us and welcome us with open arms for invading their country, killing 300,000 people, blowing up or roads and bridges and destroying our homes" - I believe lil bush may have said that
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”

What other explanation is there for groups who traditionally have the lowest voting percentages standing in line for six, seven, and eight hours to vote in south Florida?

They knew they were being targeted and they fought back.

I'll go with this one. Talked to ole Bill one of my ex-business associates about a week ago, he like me is self sufficient and has always worked had little to no debt and is just a happy go lucky type. He did not vote for Romney. Well he was mad as hell that his girl friend let it out that she voted for Obama and he couldn't believe it and asked me to talk to her and ask why. So I gave a ring a few days later and we talked, this is why Obama won.
She said she was afraid her daughter and gran-daughter would lose their sec. 8 housing and food-stamps if Romney won. Well I said she works and I thought was doing pretty well, yeah but she can never make enough to cover her housing, food stamps, and medicaid. I told her that was pretty sad and to lose my number.

Are the daughter and grand-daughter Section 8 tenants or Section 8 landlords? Why do you abhor Section 8 recipients?

I'm aware that many who receive assistance are irresponsibles who take advantage of the program, but do you know the personal situations of each of these aforementioned? Just askin'.
I don't, her daughter drives a nicer SUV then me. I sold mine for a car that gets 35 MPG. Her daughter brags and shows off her implants to everyone. Which is one reason she is unmarried with a kid I'm sure. Some can afford to live without the guvmit but choose to suck off others. And she was afraid to lose it, that my friend is shameful. I know many folks many older who would qualify for many handouts but refuse, one older women we know who weighs about 95 pounds will not even accept meals on wheels so we take turns bringing her food because we know she will go without eating if we don't bring it over and make a deal of it. And at that she is always trying to give the kids something anything.

takers while being unwilling to admit how much you took - $100K per kid - is not scary at all. We're used to your BLAMING and irresponsibility. You "brag" about being financially comfortable. I'd be more comfortable, too, if I had an extra $100K, $200K, $300K, whatever.

Diversion, as usual. Whining, as usual, when you mess up.

The really funny part is that I thought it could have been intentional dialect and not an error at all. If you weren't so whiny, I never would have known. Thank you!

I'm still paying for yours, slacker.

The video, although a jest, tells it like it is. My grandpa was a demoncrat too. He voted for Obama, and he's been dead a while too.
It worked out though. The dead voting for the braindead.

Perhaps I should have said the braindead voted for the braindead; after all you voted for Obama.

Incorrect. Two wrongs don't make a right. I voted for neither.

BTW, it's spelled elitist; singular. You just described both candidates. Congrats, you're learning.

What I want to know is what went wrong with "ole Bill?" How did his girlfriend and her daughter and granddaughter ( 3 generations) get to be government urchins despite being exposed to the frugal, self sufficient, hard working, happy go lucky "ole Bill?" Something just doesn't add up there.....are you sure there aren't a few "opps" in that story?

He's never going to understand that availing oneself of tax-funded public services could be characterized as "feeding at the trough" no matter what the program, is he?

Or that characterizing use of one program as "feeding at the trough" or "sucking the government tit" while not characterizing other programs similarly shows more personal bias than it does an understanding of the various tax-funded public programs.

Or for that matter that "free public education" isn't really "free" and is a tax-funded public service program from which users "dine."
