We can look for polling but I don't think that Zohran Kwame Mamdani is a shoe-in.

No idea what turnout is like in off year general elections in NY. But I'd think the independent candidates, a not popular mayor and a disgraced former governor would likely cancel each other out an who cares about the republican.
