A Nutjob A Day

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Lived there for almost 8 years; took a pay cut to get back to SC. Yeah, it was that bad.
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

That is pretty desperate. At least the winters weren't too bad.

I always get a laugh out of CPF self-description as being a fact-based
forum for debate. C'mon. It's the same old bash Obama and liberals
for everything that happens, no matter how little they had to do with
it. It's the same old wingnut nuttiness that you can find any number of
places on the net. Kooks and crazies masquerading as sensible people.
It ain't working.

Chairman S. once again having problems with math and numbers. Total
assjack.:

When one honestly looks at the math, 90 million is more than half the country
of the available, to work is unemployed. It truth, the unemployment numbers
are closer to UE 55%, not 7.%

Not sure what's worse, his math or his English. When you look at all the screwball, misguided and inaccurate things he says, and then consider that politics is his only real interest, imagine how much more ignorant he must be on every other topic.

Yawn:
Rick Warren is a moderate politically, but so is GW Bush, and Richard Nixon (he gave us the EPA as a peace gesture to the Left (also price controls). Seems the Left despises wimpy moderates. You don't win them over by being socialist light. They seem to take special delight in ripping them to shreds. Look what they're doing to Ben Carson.
This one caught my eye..... a moderate fundamentalist.... something just didn't compute for me, so I didn't make it any further in the sentence.

... and before anyone say something... I do not consider someone who believes in creationism a moderate, no way, no how.

You'd think the Chairman would post less often. His nonsense is out there
just about 24/7. Somebody else got a week long ban because he or she
posted something that didn't meet the approval of the administrators. They're
always yammering about freedom this and freedom that, yet they run the place
like it's some kind of Chinese communist subsidiary website. Too funny.

I happened to come across a site that tallies up polticial predictions made by
both liberal and conservative pundits and Cal was right near the bottom.

Yes, shameful:

Dr. Ben Carson should apologize to President Obama

Oh wait, "By Cal Thomas".
I know. Shocked me. As many times as I've criticized Cal "Couldn't Be Blinder" Thomas for his spin and distortions, he seems to have a spine and a sense of decorum.

Ben Carson is the Herman Cain of 2016 ... without the chickens.

Whether Chinese or North Korean, they too can't stand to have anyone
come in and bring a little sense and reality with them. That doesn't go
with the enforced stupidity they demand.

Thorny has finally discovered something about himself that most folks
knew all along. He's as crazy as a tick.:

There are times when I think I am going insane when I read what they
(Liberals) think our society should be like. It makes absolutely no sense
at all!

Oh look, now Solar is upset that someone isn't following Democrat regulations! Suddenly he doesn't trust the free market with your health information.

SOLAR:
Tresmond is representing two clients now, but anticipates more down the road. "We were flummoxed by this whole matter," explains Tresmond. "The HIPPA act is supposed to prevent this kind of thing from happening. It's a gross invasion of our privacy rights." Who's responsible for this? "The State Police. Based on information the county received from the New York State Police, they've suspended the permits. The State Police instigates the proceedings."
Tresmond says the State Police commissioner is named in the two lawsuits.
Byteryder:
I wonderd from the very beginning how they wre going to get around the HIPPA regs.
By "they" I can only assume he meant the liberals that wanted the law in the first place. 0:-?> 0:-?> 0:-?> 0:-?>

Coupla things I'd notice here...first, I wouldn't give much credence to what a lawyer says about HIPPA if he doesn't know it's HIPAA. One P, two A's. Secondly, I wouldn't give much credence to a plaintiff attorney's public statements regarding the heinous and dastardly evils his client has suffered until I'd read the actual complaint and seen what the "rest of the story" is.

May be, but I get lawyerly email all the time with the two P's. But - again going only from the articles - he didn't actually say there was a HIPAA violation or who might have committed it, only a broadside slam at "HIPPA was supposed to prevent this." He'd probably want to know also that there is no private right of action in HIPAA, which means that he cannot sue under HIPAA. He's just blowing smoke on that particular matter. He filed based on something, but it wasn't "HIPPA"

The thread about Hillary for President is a goldmine of nutjob nonsense. Hard to
pick out one example, but Chariman S., that old critical thinker and high-info voter
contributed this gem.:

First off, she hasn't a chance of winning, all the things she touts as successes
are due to Bill, everything she touched on her own without him attached was failure.
Benghazi was the latest, but going back a decade she proclaimed that children belonged
to the village, even wrote a book on it, this is a Marxist belief, the opposite of our Country's
core belief in Judea Christian values.

I say lets encourage her to run, just like the left selected our last two RINO, we need to select
their candidates as well. Hillary would run as a moderate, trying to draw in Independents, an area
she has no appeal whatsoever, she only appeals to the base, and all we need to so is capitalize on
that.
