Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Casey Anthony called 911 saying a woman threw a drink at her over a guy they both had dated.

Never mind that the toddler murderer is such a weenie that she calls the cops over a thrown drink in a bar, let this sink in:
... When asked why the woman may have thrown a drink at her, Anthony told an officer that the alleged altercation was over a guy that both women had dated, who is a police sergeant in West Palm Beach....
A FL police sergeant dated Casey Anthony! Did his coworkers and bosses know?

Arkansas woman suing police after PIT maneuver flips her car going 60 mph while she was pregnant

An Arkansas woman is suing an Arkansas State Police officer who she says "negligently performed" a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) maneuver that resulted in her car flipping over on the highway at 60 miles per hour in July 2020.

Nicole Harper, who was pregnant at the time, was clocked going 84 mph in a 70 mph zone last summer, according to the lawsuit. Within seconds of Arkansas State Police Officer Rodney Dunn turning on his patrol cruiser's overhead lights, Harper pulled over to the right lane, turned on her emergency blinkers, and slowed to 60 mph.

She was "unable to safely stop her vehicle on the right or left shoulder due to concrete barriers and a reduced shoulder being on both sides of the road… leaving [her] with no room to safely pull over her car," the lawsuit states.

Dashcam video of the incident shows that about two minutes after turning on his lights, Dunn hit the pregnant mother's back left bumper, sending her car crashing into a concrete barrier and flipping over.
Asshole.
"I thought it would be safer to wait until the exit," Harper can be heard telling Dunn while upside down in her car.

"No ma'am, you should pull over when law enforcement stops you," Dunn replied as he tried to help Harper out of the car. "We call that a PIT maneuver. When people flee from us… that's what happens."
Liar.
Her attorney, Andrew Norwood of law firm Denton & Zachary, alleged the PIT maneuver was "deadly force," adding that an exit was in just 1 mile and the concrete barriers ended about 20 seconds down the road.
Sheesh.
"What do I need to do in the future? Do I just stop in the middle of the road? Do I just lock it up and slam on the brakes in the middle of the road no matter where I am, no matter what?" Norwood said of Harper's thinking. "What if I'm on a bridge? Because the officer said in no uncertain terms, in the video, ‘It doesn’t matter where you are, you just stop.'"

Harper also contests that she did exactly what she learned to do in driver's education when being stopped by a police officer.

"Pull over to the right side of the road – activate your turn signal or emergency flashers to indicate to the officer that you are seeking a safe place to stop," the Arkansas Driver License Study Guide reads.
Arkansas State Police Officer Rodney Dunn is an idiot, and he's a coward after having had all this time to admit that he was wrong.
The Arkansas State Police did not return to multiple requests for comment on Wednesday.
Assholes.
A FOX16 investigation last month revealed that PIT maneuvers are increasingly being used by the Arkansas State Police. Between January 2017 and December 2020, PIT maneuvers were used 306 times, with half of those happening in 2020, according to the local news outlet.

At least 30 people have died and hundreds more have been injured since 2016 from PIT maneuvers, according to The Washington Post. Eighteen of those deaths occurred after police attempted to stop a person for speeding or another minor traffic violation.

Who wants to bet that Rodney Dunn is known as "R Dunne" as in "git r done?" And that he takes pride in it.

Baton Rouge police shooting of Alton Sterling ‘disturbing to say the least,’ governor says

Ut-oh, BRPD, when even the white Louisiana Gov. immediately says, “disturbing to say the least,” has "very serious concerns," and asks the U.S. Department of Justice to lead the investigation, there's a good chance that you screwed up. Not that reality ever intrudes upon racists and/or semi-fascist cop lovers.

They are, but it's hard to overcome the tiny dicks that some cops have.

I once saw 6 Dutch cops use a blanket litter to carry off a whacked druggie. I've never seen anything like that in the U.S., ever.

According to the white witness, Alton Sterling was asking why he was being arrested, which is his right.

#RightToRecord: DOJ must investigate arrests of citizens who document police killings
Citizen journalists are reporting from the frontline of police violence in the United States. Using camera phones, they recorded the final moments of Philando Castile, Alton Sterling, Freddie Gray, and Eric Garner. In each case, the police retaliated by arresting those citizens - either in the immediate aftermath of the killings, or within 24 hours of the deaths being ruled homicides by medical examiners.
UPDATE:

$4.5 million accepted by family of man killed by police

... The officer who shot Sterling during a struggle outside a convenience store lost his job and another officer was suspended. Neither was charged criminally after state and federal investigations....

Viral video shows police use Taser on teen to enforce vaping ban

Maryland police defended officers' actions after viral videos showed them kneeing and deploying Tasers on Black teenagers to enforce a vaping ban on Ocean City's boardwalk.

However, Maryland House Speaker Adrienne A. Jones on Monday questioned the use of force over vaping.

"The video from this weekend in Ocean City is deeply disturbing. Vaping on the Boardwalk is not a criminal offense," Jones said in a statement. "Black and brown children should not be tased while their hands are up. Officers should not kneel on the back of a minor. Vaping should not yield a hogtie." ...
:wtf: Vaping is bad for the vaper, but harms no one else, especially outdoors and with sea breezes. White pigs, of course.

No.

This is more intense than any bodycam vid I've seen released - death of a cop, attempted strangling of a kid, then death of the cop killer:

Critical Incident Community Briefing - May 11, 2021

I wonder what the police union and dead cop's family think of that. It’s even well beyond what one can usually see on YT.

My farts are louder than that, but they usually don't last "for more than a minute".

Damn, hominy. You're the bomb. Not long ago I had a fart that lasted about three seconds and I thought I was doing good. It was almost musical; went up and down the scale.

I wonder what the decibel level is from Pensacola Naval Air Station jets and whether they limit their overflights to between 0600 and 2100.

Police: Man who shot Colorado gunman was killed by officer

Johnny Hurley was hailed by police as a hero for shooting and killing a gunman they say had killed one officer and expressed hatred for police in a Denver suburb. But when another officer rushed in to respond and saw Hurley holding the suspect’s AR-15, he shot Hurley, killing him, police revealed Friday....

Yeah, an expected result when more and more people are carrying around guns just because they can. But really, the guy's "heroism" notwithstanding, he probably deserves a Darwin for actually picking up the killer's AR-15. That was a fatal mistake.

Better than letting than letting the possibly still living perp or someone else grab it.

He would have been armed regardless and he's unlikely to have pointed the AR-15 or any gun at the killer cop who is required by law and policy to give him an opportunity to surrender, and to only shoot if he perceives an imminent threat. This smells like revenge gone wrong to me.

However, you are correct. The hero victim will be blamed and the killer cop will skate.

I dunno - this isn't some guy with a cell phone or an old lady with a lighter. The responding cop knew there was already one cop down, and when he gets on scene there's two people down, including the cop, and a guy holding an AR-15. I'd think he was understandably skeered in this instance.
Hero shouldn't have picked up the gun, and should have dropped his own.

Hero wouldn't have know that there was only one perp, and may not have known that a cop had arrived. My guess is that if the killer cop had announced himself as he's suppose to the perp would have put down both guns immediately.

Hero and cop both did exactly the same thing, and using the same thought process/instinct: See dead guy(s) and live guy holding a gun. Shoot the live guy holding the gun.
