Trump campaign staff had altercation with Arlington National Cemetery official over photo op:
Two members of Donald Trump's campaign staff had a verbal and physical altercation Monday with an official at Arlington National Cemetery, where the former president participated in a wreath-laying ceremony, NPR has learned.
A source with knowledge of the incident said the cemetery official tried to prevent Trump staffers from filming and photographing in a section where recent U.S. casualties are buried. The source said Arlington officials had made clear that only cemetery staff members would be authorized to take photographs or film in the area, known as Section 60.
When the cemetery official tried to prevent Trump campaign staff from entering Section 60, campaign staff verbally abused and pushed the official aside, according to the source.
That's not even up to a laughable standard. He was trashed before and latest poll (rare because nobody really bothers) was pushing high 60s percent dem.
He might have won Shasta county and the mythical state of Jefferson but otherwise he was properly fish slapped - and even the repugs know it.

... “When you see the accordion hands start going, what that means is that he’s lying,” Cohen, who was Trump’s longtime fixer and personal attorney, told CNN’s Jim Acosta on Tuesday. “It’s a tell with Donald. Anytime that the accordion hands start, that means that he’s not telling the truth.”...
Nailed it, neoplacebo
... The Harris camp wants the mics on all the time, and Trump has said that’s OK with him.
But his campaign wants them off for the Sept. 10 debate.
Cohen said there’s a reason for that.
“They don’t trust that he’s gonna keep his mouth shut and he won’t stay normal for the 90 minutes of the debate,” Cohen said.
Cohen said Trump ― despite what he says ― doesn’t want the mics on, either.
“He knows he can’t control himself,” he said. “He says things under his breath, he’s gonna continuously interrupt Kamala every time she says something that he doesn’t agree with. He can’t help himself.”...

Trump’s latest remarks add to a number of instances in recent months that have sparked questions over his mental acuity, including top CEOs describing him as being “remarkably meandering” at a meeting and an author who interviewed him claiming he showed “severe memory issues.”
Critics on social media mocked the former president and questioned why he can’t keep bacon off his mind, as well:

(Co-host @theswppod Opinions are my own and not necessarily the views of my husband [whistleblower patriot]...but obviously if our views are different, mine are correct.)
Again I ask: WHY IS HE SO OBSESSED WITH BACON?
What in the word salad is this old man trying to say?

Historians will scratch their heads about 2024, in which 1 candidate was forced to quit the race for being old & having a bad debate while the other candidate said mad, rambling stuff like this & not only stayed in the race but didn’t get pressured to step aside by the media
I know I’d eat more bacon if it wasn’t so damn windy.
