Re: Christmas for Atheists
A little bit earlier in this thread, Colonel, you said, "I normally stay out of the religious hatred of the left but, oh well.
I think it's funny how they spend so much more time here hating or degrading Religion the the Religious do supposedly pushing it on them"
Could you point out in whatever size typeface you choose where anybody here has said they hate religion? As you say, "we'll wait."

As the link I provided clearly shows, homerfobe said it deliberately and you remained silent about it even though you posted very soon afterwards. So, is it confusion, poor memory, or illiteracy this time? You've always got some excuse for your lying.
Screw-up ducked, as usual.
Us? You and homerfobe are the only two unrepentant antisemites I'm aware of here.
This all easy for you to resolve, just post: "I was wrong to stereotype Hollywood/banker Jews, and homerfobe was wrong to call another poster "kike" and I should have spoken up immediately about it."
But, we all know that you don't have the spine to post that. You'd rather be seen as an antisemite and mewl like a little baby when it's pointed out. Fine, I'm happy to oblige.
I am still waiting where I even hinted I hate anyone????????????????????????????????????????????????Right, you show your love for Jews by stereotyping them as Hollywood/bankers and giving homerfobe a pass when he uses the ugly word, "kike".
As predicted, still running.Vrede wrote:Yes, you do run away from your own posts 10,000 times or more. We expect it of you by now

Plus, the dumbass was too stupid to recognize that a photo of the Obamas had been PhotoShopped, putting pimp and whore outfits on the Obamas.
He was dim enough to think it was real and claimed that they were just dressed up nicely, . . . as if that's just how black "folk" dress when they go out.
And, after making that stereotyping blunder, he then claimed that you were racist if you pointed out that someone had PhotoShopped the picture to make it look like the Obamas were wearing pimp and whore outfits.
You can't make this stuff up.

Again a liberal just makes things up as they go along to make them feel good about themselves. I never said I hated her, I may of said she didn't deserve all the praise she was getting because she was nothing more then a JUNKIE! So now do a little more lying as the libs here do a find my quot where I said I hated her or even implied such?neoplacebo wrote:Well, it seems to me I remember you hating Whitney Houston and you hated the football player last weekend. The football player was an ass and deserves no positive comment at all, he is/was a murdered, the end.
As is the Dallas Cowboy who killed his bud this weekend, ass is all he deserves. He even as an NFL player carries a card that allows for free rides anytime anyplace.
Nice to see a lib come out and defend these Junkie, murder's though.

Well at least you no longer deny being the defender of murders and junkies. See you're learning! Do you have a wall with the pictures of your Hero's on it also like Vred?Stinger wrote:Mangle-ish. What a language.Colonel Taylor wrote: he is/was a murdered, the end.

Re: Christmas for Atheists
You are terminally and perpetually confused, as expected. No one here has defended junkies and murderers; you invented that. What we said in response to your assertion that you "don't hate anybody" was to point out your vitriol for Houston after her death (describing her as a junkie and generally less than human) and your idea that we should defecate on the grave of the NFL player who killed his girlfriend and himself.....both of those examples of your comments display what could only be termed "hate" for those two dead people. There's no way you can deny it, because it's true. There's no way you can NOT BELIEVE it , because it's true. You can twist and babble until the cows come home; it won't change anything. Now go ahead and prove to us, with your reply, how you remain terminally and acutely and perpetually confused about everything from the language of our country to its inhabitants. We'll wait.....

Hard to believe, but I expected at least one of the canned responses by now (lie and deny, twist, forum leader, etc) but it would seem we're still at......we'll wait.

Re: Christmas for Atheists
Back to something in the area of the original topic - the problems arise when people want to "own" a holiday like Christmas and exclude others. There's plenty of Christmas to go around for Christians as well as non-Christians. Actually, most of the trappings of Christmas aren't representative of what Christians call the "true meaning" anyway. Not Santa, not trees, maybe tangentially related to gift-giving from the original gifts of the Magi, not feasting. And it's not the only holiday between the third Thursday in November and January 2. Why can't everybody celebrate as they see fit (or not) instead of insisting on just one flavor of Christmas?

Re: Christmas for Atheists
The stockings hung over the fireplace comes from Norse religion. (YOU are the one supposed to be leaving carrots and other treats in them for Odin's reindeer.) The mistletoe thing is pagan. The day of feasting and celebration which emphasized peace and goodwill to all, comes from Saturnalia.
The big Christmas star is a modern invention. The three wise guys were astrologers following rather ordinary planets and stars.

Re: Christmas for Atheists
Here I am asking for translations of Colonel Sanders' Manglish, and I get accused of defending a "murder's though." Where did I defend anything.Colonel Taylor wrote:Well at least you no longer deny being the defender of murders and junkies. See you're learning! More importantly, what in the hell IS a "murder's though"? What is a "though," and how is it possessed by a "murder"?
While I'm asking, what is a "murdered." I know what a murder victim is, and a murderer, and I could even figure out what a "murderee" is, but what's a "murdered"?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Another favorite definition, soon to be useful:
Kirk (v): To break the Prime Directive. Usage: "It was a nice little planet 'till they Kirked it."

I am no historian, and have not researched this topic, but here is an article that disputes your argumentVrede wrote:Nor the date, that was stolen from Pagan and other Winter Solstice celebrations.
