So it'll be interesting to see how Trump's tariffs playout if he rolls them on the EU.
BMW is a huge employer in the Upstate SC area. Something like 60% of the vehicles are exported worldwide, with many going to China, the EU, and Canada (in that order). Not to mention all of the other foreign manufacturing plants in the area, which likely export their goods worldwide as well. And all of the various items part of the supply chain that may be imported from other countries involved in manufacturing the vehicles that may also be affected.
Once retaliatory tariffs hit, and if they keep increasing, I can't see the impact being good on the upstate.
Also, I'm so happy I bought my car when I did. It was manufactured in Canada
