I didn't read the story in your link, but having noted that, I will say that I don't think there were a lot of Jews in the antebellum south. So, from that, we can safely assume that "approximately 1/4" of "not a lot" isn't a very substantial group.Ulysses wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 10:39 pmAccording to the following, approximately 1/4 of American Jews in the South were slave-owners:

Probably true, but it was enough to trigger both Cucky and Freakey.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 03, 2022 5:34 amI didn't read the story in your link, but having noted that, I will say that I don't think there were a lot of Jews in the antebellum south. You fail comprehension as usual, simpleton. We pity and mock the Nazi bigotry that you're so proud of.

Re: In Memoriam
I remember Dobie Gillis, but our favorite in that show was Bob Denver as Maynard G. Krebs. who passed away at age 70 in 2005.

I watched a few episodes a couple of months ago. Dobie and Maynard were influential.

Too bad. He wasn't pretty, but he certainly could sing. I guess he finally got his prayer answered.
So now I'm praying for the end of time
To hurry up and arrive
'Cause if I gotta spend another minute with you
I don't think that I can really survive
I'll never break my promise or forget my vow
But God only knows what I can do right now
I'm praying for the end of time
It's all that I can do
Praying for the end of time,
So I can end my time with you!

You answered it with your next post - masking, isolation and quite possibly vaccination.

Politics
Meat Loaf was not officially registered with any political party. He performed at the 1997 pre-inauguration ball for re-elected Democratic President Bill Clinton and attended the 2001 inauguration of Republican President George W. Bush. He donated to the presidential campaigns of Republican candidates Rick Santorum and John McCain, the latter of whom became the party's nominee in the 2008 presidential election.
On October 25, 2012, Meat Loaf endorsed Mitt Romney for president, citing poor relations with Russia as a major reason he had been "arguing for Mitt Romney for a year". He said, "I have never been in any political agenda in my life, but I think that in 2012 this is the most important election in the history of the United States." He then said there are "storm clouds" over the United States and "thunder storms" over Europe: "There are hail storms – and I mean major hail storms! – in the Middle East. There are storms brewing through China, through Asia, through everywhere."The same day, he performed "America the Beautiful" standing next to Romney.
In a 2017 interview with Billboard, he said positive things about Donald Trump, Ivanka and Donald Jr. (they had worked together on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2011).
In an interview with the Daily Mail in 2021, he called Greta Thunberg "brainwashed" due to her views on climate change.
