How brassiere.
Christopher Moore mostly writes about your area, albeit from a different POV.
Huh. Never heard of him. But Wiki had a brief article on him. He lives in SF and most of his books are sort of fantasies set in his fictional universe. To which I think, who among us does not live in a fictional universe?

Anyway, seems interesting.

I ran down a big lizard and grappled with it for several minutes before stomping it to death. After that, I sort of wished I'd let it go since I wasn't very hungry. And you've already confessed to hummingbird torture. And a hummingbird wouldn't yield more than a couple of bites. you sick

OK, this is quite alarming.

First Neoplasm confesses to squashing lizards to death, by "stomping".

Then Vrede celebrates offing poor defenceless chipmunks. He didn't say what he then does with the bodies. Probably he skins them and makes a dress out of them, like Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs.

Finally the V-man demonstrates how to torture an invertebrate, i.e., a jelly fish, by confusing it senseless with a ring of toxic air.

Really disturbing.

I will stomp a poison spewing Monitor lizard or Hila monster every time and never look back.

Wrong; it takes two normal size chipmunks to make a luxurious jock strap.

I'd say the jellyfish never had a better time but will likely go down a drain shortly by mistaking its swirl for another bubble ride.

At least neoparcheesi only stomps his lizards once, Useless. billy.pilgrim’s Jesus and his brother mash them over and over as part of some cruel kids’ carnival trick.
http://www.blueridgedebate.com/forum/vi ... 94#p141894
Now THAT is torture.

You're actually sympathizing with California's plague-ridden chipmunks? How will that work out for your cats? It's not up to me, but I would burn the dead ones because, you know, THE BLACK DEATH.

As neopandemonium says, that jelly just had the time of its dismal life, mister, a life otherwise marked exclusively by consuming small “fishy” tasting marine organisms and getting eaten by a sea turtle. What have YOU got against jelly fun? It was certainly a more pleasant experience than the last few seconds of your roasted hummingbird's life, or the lives of the “gifts” deposited on your porch by your foster felines.

I'd like to see you try to stomp a 12 foot long swamp gator.

Gators aren't lizards. We don't know how neoplacebo feels about crocodilians.

Well, I guess that if I had to confront an alligator I'd first get its attention with a baseball bat or a golf club. Depending on how long that takes, I'd then walk back to the teepee to outfit myself with my size 12 alligator stomping boots. They're a menace to anything in front of them. Most of the time the alligator will see me coming wearing those stomping boots and rapidly slither away back into the water but some hapless ones get stomped. The bad word gets out pretty fast.

I think the "Alligator Stomp" was popular about the time of "Crocodile Rock"

Goddamn I always hated that song. Instead I'd listen to "Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting" and get a little action in with my stomping boots. Those were the days.

I wonder if the park officials were speeding around or otherwise fucking off in their little 2:30am empire and just happened to intersect the path of owl. Last time I checked, owls have damn good eyesight, especially at night. I guess I would have to question other owls in the area before making a decision.
Don't cha think it might be a mistake to let those mischievous plague-munks go scot free?

You should find a new goofiness to dwell on. No one is going to fault the USFS for limited plague-carrying chipmunk eradication on the south shore of Lake Tahoe.

There are lots of replacement chipmunks out there. That said, follow your heart. Go there RIGHT NOW and throw your body on the gears of the chipmunkicidal machine. No excuses.

I would object. Sharing fleas with chipmunks is a pretty obscure risk, resulting apparently in one human plague case in the past 6 years. It's not like the little critters are rabid and launch Cujo-worthy attacks on poor defenceless humans. What's the expected life span of a plague-infested chipmunk anyway?
