it's really just a continuation of the rove tactic to attack you opponents with your own weaknesses, or more loosley, accuse them of cheating while you set up the grand cheat.

Yep, along with the usual and new cheats, destroying confidence in the system is an integral part of this year's "grand cheat", and Putin's strategy. We need overwhelming Biden and other Dems wins, and even that may not be enough.

OK, so I don't agree with it, but if DeSantis' argument was that control of public health issues ought to be led by locals and the state should not unduly interfere, I could understand. But refusing to do anything and actively preventing locals from doing anything is just bat-shit moon-howling barking crazy.

I don't know about elsewhere but we have had several drive thru testing sites plus the hospitals for the past several months and still have the same number.
But then, NW Florida was never the problem.

Florida man who tried to get ballot for dead wife charged

Florida authorities say they've filed a voter fraud charge against a man who said he said he “wanted to test the system" when he tried to obtain a mail-in ballot for his deceased wife.

Manatee County Supervisor of Elections Mike Bennett said he contacted the sheriff's office after a review of voter rolls showed that Larry Wiggins' wife had been dead for two years. Staffers determined that Wiggins forged his late wife’s name on the ballot request, according to the Bradenton Herald.

Wiggins, who was arrested last Thursday on a voter fraud charge, told deputies that he was “testing the system to see if worked.” ...
Not 100%, but it sounds like he's a Trumpette. Will his defense be that PINO told him to do it?

A reasonable deduction, but I don't think so. trump only urged living people to vote twice; he never said anything about digging up your dead wife and trying to register her again. So I guess trump could be said to be against dead people voting but not against living people voting twice. The rest of the GOP probably goes along with this general notion.

Trump did urge living people to vote twice, but he also ranted about all the "fake" votes by illegals...and dead people. My guess is that this guy may very well have been trying to "catch" the election people being so sloppy that he could get by with it. Typical of the "poorly educated" Trump cultist.

We can't know for sure, but the system has to assume that he's lying and his “testing" would have continued right on through voting twice, and it should sentence him accordingly.

Oh, I wasn't suggesting he be excused - I'm just pointing out likely stupidity, whatever the intent.

Mike Pence rally draws maskless crowd of elderly supporters in retirement community

Mike Pence has held a packed rally at the world’s largest retirement community, with mainly maskless supporters cheering him on and several then needing medical assistance due to the heat....

Pence, 61, first held a Latinos For Trump gathering in Orlando before travelling to The Villages, home to 117,000 people, 50 miles north west of Orlando.

There he addressed a large crowd who, despite socially-distanced chairs being set out, ignored the seating arrangement and packed together for the event, dragging their chairs closer together and standing in groups....
Stay tuned for CV-19 cluster.

It must be awful to be that scared. The guy probably also believes Mexico is paying for the wall and China is sending billions and billions of dollars to the US Treasury and that the Covid virus is nothing to worry about. Maybe he can shoot it out of his lungs when he gets it. I hope he has good aim.

One wonders why, if he was really that concerned about "protecting" his family, he would go to such a "dangerous" place at all.

"Honey, there's a bunch of Mexicans going to push over some Hell's Angel motorcycles at the rally. Pack up the kids and let's go down and watch."

His wife and kids are scarier than Mexicans and Hells Angels.

Trump repeatedly botched Rep. Matt Gaetz's name at a Florida rally, calling him the name of a former aide who was convicted

During a campaign rally Friday night, President Donald Trump mixed up the names of Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz and Rick Gates, a former aide who was convicted after pleading guilty to crimes related to Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Gaetz is one of Trump's staunchest supporters. Trump, pointing to Gaetz sitting off camera, referred to him multiple times as "Rick Gates" or "Rick." ...
Ouch.

I'm not sure whether PINO or Gaetz should be more humiliated, but neither has any shame, anyhow.
