Upgraded forum to 3.1.2 - Report problems here!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Upgraded forum to 3.1.2 - Report problems here!

Unread post by bannination »

I give it a quick look through and I don't see anything obviously wrong.

First really cool feature I like..... in notifications I can be alerted when someone quotes me in a post by email or jabber or board notification noice!

I personally dislike the blue theme. I'll be making a grayish one ASAP.

Upper right hand corner where you user name is; it's a dropdown, then User Control Panel.

No wonder I couldn't find it. I rarely admire my own photo....

Suggestion, not that it has any bearing on performance of the forum; but I would suggest removing all the "members" who have joined and never posted, or have long ceased posting.

I cleaned up a lot of obvious spammer accounts. The list should be much cleaner now.

I wanted to leave them, so I could inflate our number of users and claim we're the biggest forum on the internet like CPF. :chalo:

Oops, sorry guys, I just load tested the server up to a few thousand simulated users and ended up crashing the database server :>

Hopefully, no one noticed.

I like it too. As Vrede pointed out, I like going directly to the last post.

Now I don't have to search for the last topic that he's blasted me on.... :D

When you hit the Quote button, the cursor is not longer placed between the quote/endquote brackets, ready for you to paste in text. Instead it appears two characters to the right.

I noticed that peculiarity myself; I thought it might be a quirk in my PC.

Another thing.....sometimes if you click the bold, Img, normal, or colour (sic) tabs, the cursor may land inside the brackets rather than in the middle where you type the text.

...the bugs. Oh, the bugs! Image Image

Why can't you delete your previous post if you change your mind and want to say something else, even if no one has posted anything in response?

See if you can now Mr. B, I extended the amount of time that deletions are allowed to 24 hours from post time.

Because we don't have anything to hide here at BRD.
You aren't doing it wrong if no one knows what you are doing.
