Where are they now - a companion thread to the Quit/ fired thread
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/kelly ... ?ocid=AMZN
"Friday, Caliburn International confirmed to CBS News that Kelly had joined its board of directors. Caliburn is the parent company of Comprehensive Health Services, which operates Homestead and three other shelters for unaccompanied migrant children in Texas.
Prior to joining the Trump administration in January 2017, Kelly had been on the board of advisors of DC Capital Partners, an investment firm that now owns Caliburn.
The Caliburn board includes other former high-ranking military personnel, including retired General Anthony C. Zinni, Admiral James G. Stavridis and Rear Admiral Kathleen Martin. The company's portfolio includes work in a variety of defense sectors."
Interesting that so many of these scumbags are found together before, during and after trump.

"shelters" = prisons
"unaccompanied" = ripped from their parents' arms, no records kept

Wasn't the "left wing" media calling him the adult in the room?
Would have been so easy to see that he was padding profits for the company he worked for before trump and maybe even a little speculation about after trump.

Maybe, idk, but much less so than people like Rex and Mattis. Remember, Kelly was spreading the Pizzagate conspiracy theory before the election, and only lasted 3 weeks into the admin*.billy.pilgrim wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 12:02 pmWasn't the "left wing" media calling him the adult in the room?
I thought POSPOTUS had rules, but maybe it's okay since it's been more than 2 years since he let govt.Would have been so easy to see that he was padding profits for the company he worked for before trump and maybe even a little speculation about after trump.

Michael Cohen reports to prison tomorrow. Roger Stone is a quivering, shuddering mass of pent up bile and angst as he must shut the fuck up until his trial is over....even odds he goes off the wagon and says something stupid and then is taken into custody until trial. I think the trial is in November, so six more months of shut up for Roger if he can stand it. Sean Spicer will write a memoir titled "How to Lie Without Trying and Still Look Like an Ass." Not sure what Hope Hicks will resort to; I hope she will stop by one night for small talk and big, well, never mind that. Jeff Sessions and Roy Moore hang out at a rural Alabama store and pine over "the good ole days" when white was right and they were the whitest of all.

That might be punishment enough or him. Theoretical punishment, he'll never make it.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 7:46 am... I think the trial is in November, so six more months of shut up for Roger if he can stand it....

Shit, none of us might.
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.

Welcome back! Search your handle. I think you've been mentioned a time or two, but can't remember the context.

I know better than to talk shit before the game or, in this case, before the season even starts. Nice try, though!billy.pilgrim wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 3:43 pm

Where are they now? $124,000 than he might have been.

Only Democrats care, of course.Lawmakers take EPA head to task for refusing to demand Pruitt repay travel expenses
Lawmakers are blasting the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for refusing to hold former agency head Scott Pruitt accountable for $124,000 in extravagant travel expenses.
Democrats on Capitol Hill Thursday criticized EPA administrator Andrew Wheeler for deciding against asking his predecessor to pay back thousands in what they said were excessive and unjustified travel costs during his time heading the agency.
“Mr. Pruitt’s lavish tastes, and his use of taxpayer money to finance them, have become a punchline. But this isn’t a joke, and the Trump administration should take it seriously and take responsibility,” U.S. Senator Tom Udall (D-N.M.), who had called for an Office of Inspector General's (OIG) investigation into Pruitt’s questionable flying habits, wrote in a statement.
The EPA’s OIG released a report Thursday that said Pruitt and his staff had overspent nearly $124,000 on “excessive” first class travel over the course of ten months in 2017. The government watchdog recommended the EPA request Pruitt pay back his share of costs.
“Yet Administrator Wheeler’s EPA rushed to defend Mr. Pruitt’s indefensible conduct following the release of this report – and the report itself indicates Administrator Wheeler’s team retroactively approved Mr. Pruitt’s travel, a de facto pardon of this unacceptable abuse of taxpayer money," Udall said....

Re: Where are they now - a companion thread to the Quit/ fired thread
I watched a clip of Sean Spicer from a Fox News show in which they were talking about General Flynn and the latest hubbub surrounding him. The host pointed out to Sean that Obama fired Flynn and warned trump not to hire him. Spicer rejected that and started talking about nobody "in the intelligence community" raised any flags about Flynn. I thought that statement from Spicer was telling in the sense that he apparently assumes Obama just up and fired Flynn for no reason or just because he didn't like him.....something trump would do. So, Spicer assumed that Obama fired Flynn with no input or information from anyone at DIA or elsewhere in the intelligence community because his only experience in anything like this is with the trump cartel who operate on a whim or a tweet. Sort of an up through the rectum insight into the "brains" in the trump rodeo clown show.

Maybe Richard Nixon will finally go to prison, too.Roger Stone posts ‘Wanted for Treason’ image of ex-CIA boss John Brennan on Instagram, condemns Trump-Russia probe
... The post comes less than four months after the federal judge in his criminal case imposed a gag order on Stone, restricting the ability of the associate of President Donald Trump to comment publicly about his case and related issues.
... According to a Newsweek story published Sunday, Stone, in a separate Instagram video story, featured a photo of Brennan with the words: “This psycho must be charged, tried, convicted ... and hung for treason.”
... (Judge Amy Berman) Jackson directly told Stone he was barred from speaking “publicly about the investigation or the case or any of the participants in the investigation or the case.”
The gag covers “posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other form of social media,” as well as other forms of communication.
If Stone violates the order, Jackson could revoke his $250,000 release bond and send him to jail pending his trial on charges of lying to Congress, witness tampering and obstruction....
