Tribute to a Murderer, nah I think not!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Tribute to a Murderer, nah I think not!

Why is this man's name even mentioned as a Tribute? He was/is a murderer who left a baby without parents and murdered the child's mother.
His uniform should have been put on display and all should have been allowed to poo and pee on it!

Maybe he was a young black man who had no criminal record, made it good as an NFL player, was in love for the first time and had a new baby, and for some reason thought his young wife was not on the same page as he was with all that.....a love story, so to speak. Tragic, but no reason to second guess the man or his motives. Just a sad story; no need for vitriol. Did I mention that he was black? I suspect his child was as well.

I won't go quite as far as the Colonel, but unless we find out something differently the young man must be held totally accountable for his actions. As for Bob Costas he has the right to his own opinion, but not in that forum in my view. The gun didn't kill that young woman, Javon Belcher did.

He was their teammate and friend, who went off the rails creating tragedy for many, including the families and also his teammates. They are undoubtedly shocked by such bizarre events, but can hardly be expected to immediately defile the memory of the guy they knew because of the actions of the guy they apparently didn't know. If he had shot her and run off, I'd probably feel differently, but given all that happened, I think it's just sad and no villification is necessary.

I'm allowing for his not meaning "tribute" the way it sounds. He is an offensive lineman. While we're at it, the thread title should be, "Tribute to a murderer, nah," but, "I think not!" works, often.
LOL have to love smart phones ha. My fingers are bigger the half the keyboard and forget about going backwards.

Oh and Bob Castas in a jerk by the way. Like they say never let a good tragedy go to waste right. Anything to get his political agenda out, screw the poor women and child.
At least we now know it wasn't his fault but the guns fault anyway.
