We had a family live in a house not much better than a shack on our farm. Mom and Dad were dumb as a sack of hammers. It wasn't for lack of trying, they worked dawn to dusk, but just couldn't do much of anything.
Their 2 kids both had off the charts IQs, one in college at 14 and the other at 16.
And it works both ways. Fred trump appears to have been pretty smart, but look at the idiots he produced in dumdon and dumdon's offsprung.
