Cool. The Asheville weather dude did his best to not gloat over how the hail was limited to SC.

Don't know the reason, but tornadoes never seem to hit urban areas. We've had umpteen warnings but never touchdowns near the lake.

Not enough trailer parks to attract them. Trailer parks are well-known tornado bait.

Chicago is in a weirdly safe-ish pocket.

Looks like the road was flooded and then they got sucked into the drainage pipe underneath the highway, but .

Tropical Depression Three will be a hurricane and is headed our way. Poor Haiti, even the map erases it.

Exactly. Some dumbass drove into a puddle, got out at a storm drain, couldn't get out, cop tried to help and both went for a near death ride.
I still wouldn't blame a flood.

Yes this sucks. I've had a bit of a headache all day and my eyes are sensitive.

This morning the sun was out. By early afternoon it's like some sort of mystery pseudo fog. I think it must be Canada smoke manifesting. Can't see the mountain clearly like normal.
