Being a new year I thought I would check in with you guys in Leftists Land. Perusing some of the threads some things struck me.

O'Really continues to be the one rational voice on the board. However, Ulysses has some promise.

The retired RN remains the arrogant, know it all person who is the smartest person this side of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Ulysses seems to have figured out the retired RN pretty quickly.

Billy and Cubs Fan are still hanging around although Billy draws the ire of the retired RN from time to time.

Neo still relies on his middle school vocabulary as he posts in his drug induced state.

Solar continues to live rent free in your heads.

I wonder why there is not a single post I have seen that discusses what a great job Joe Biden has done as president.

BTW, start early to find your November polling place. Since you all support most democrats I would not want you to have trouble figuring out where to vote.

So nice of you to offer your free opinions on the members of our group. We'll give them the weight they deserve.
If you hang around with many people who voted for or support Biden, you'll find they aren't members of a cult or fan club, and don't generally go around playing cheerleader for whatever he does. That doesn't mean we don't appreciate the work he has done, particularly under the circumstances he's dealt with, nor does it mean we don't disagree with some things he has done or the speed at which he hasn't done it. Overall, though, yes he's done a good job. He's undone many of the more egregious things the former guy did, and managed to get passed the infrastructure bill that the former guy wanted and couldn't get. He's done about all that any person in that position could do to promote/plead/require vaccines and use of other methods to control the pandemic, and he's got the US back on track as a world citizen. What he hasn't done is push Shumer to get rid of the filibuster so he can get bills like voting rights through before it's too late. And, he continues to be overly pollyannaish that he can get collaboration from Republicans like he used to be able to do back in the day. And he hasn't broken Manchin's knees yet, as far as I know.
