Not the entire older generation. Ftr, Pelosi urged the Senate Dems to maintain solidarity with the House Dems. If I'm reading the votes correctly the important one was Motion to Invoke Cloture: H.R. 1968, ending any filibuster.

Most of these Dems including Schumer switched sides for the final majority vote, no doubt so they can tell the unsophisticated that they opposed the bill.

There was one R rebel, Paul (R-KY) voted Nay.

I think the Democrats only voted for this in order to prevent president Musk from doing even more damage during a period of paralyzed government. They probably all hated doing so but figured it was the best thing to do. As for the Republican "no" votes, it's no secret they are slap full of wingnuts. Some of them want to punish the vulnerable quicker than the others. They can't even agree on that. Hilarius.
