I couldn't resist posting this as a little comic relief from a bunch of libs. I am making the assumption the great majority of the people in this community are libs considering the location. The turbines cost $10M and it will be $5M-$15M to deconstruct them. Another effort at green energy not being what it was thought to be.
I found this interesting, mostly because it's from Fox News. During my research I found this though: comments from actual residents from the Cape Cod Times.
Sounds like there is much more to this story than Fox is telling. There might be more information, but I already used my "Three Free Articles" on the times site. The more I look though the more I see people supporting the keeping of them.
Even if there were significant 'mysterious' health effects on people with those turbines, I don't understand how that's a failure of green energy, looks like it's a failure in planning, they should have been placed further from the population. .... and that's *if* it has any truth to it at all.

I like how he considers Hydro *NOT* a green energy.
Easy.. it doesn't fit their narrative...
Their Wind thread is so full of absolutely verifiable bullshit as to be laughable.. Starting with Windmills are bad because they kill birds.. (Cell Phone towers kill hundreds of times more) to the incredibly idiotic Low Frequency Death Waves that they claim windmills produce...
The ongoing Conservative War on Education has been a complete success judging from that forum... .

Conspiracy fantasies are like black holes to those goobers- if they get within sight of one, they are involuntarily pulled in to their own destruction. They can no more avoid it than a moth can avoid a bug zapper.
Forgive me for mixing analogies . . . .
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

Check out his sig.. . The idiot (Solar.. so many certified idiots over there, I'd better be specific) doesn't know the difference between Extremest and Extremist...
The group explored the spatial relationship between reported health impacts and the locations of
homes. The Town’s Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Specialist created a map to illustrate
the locations of the Board of Health complaints in relation to the turbines.8 Upon review of the
map, the WTOP did not draw specific conclusions about the relationship between health impacts
and proximity to the turbines.
There's also some cost data in there that doesn't match Fox News at all.
EDIT: There might be some matching data there, it's 55 pages.
There's a recurring theme of property values; and the 40 or so residents that are "having problems" not accepting any solutions except removal.
We are a forum for Conservatives, you are here only because we accept opposing views, but because we are not a lib site, you and others like you are not afforded the privileges or leniency that Conservatives are, it's no different than any other site that caters to a certain group.

Or not.... as it seems.
They do love their circle jerks and reach-arounds.

Really? And when have we ever censored a post, like those other forums, or banned someone for an opposing belief, like those other forums, or deleted their account without explanation like those other forums?
Point is, were not like other forums, and the fact that you post freely as a liberal, and not once have we ever stifled your views, kind of slaps in the face of your claim, that we're like those other forums, now doesn't it?

Either he's ignorant of the administration's tendency to delete posts and accounts, or he thinks everyone is stupid.

Pitying, my ass. I have no pity for willful stupidity, childish retribution and cowardly avoidance of issues and debate. Phuque them all. Like i said: they like their circle jerks and reach-arounds.

Guess I shouldn't have said "all", sorry. No matter, it was deleted within seconds. Pitiful.
Quick poll - Who has been banned on CPF? It's twice (not counting the repeats this time) for me.
Twice for me.
I was very tempted to show them they have no idea how to deal with proxies, but I'd rather not waste time on them.
Vrede wrote:Yeah, it's a one-off for me. I just couldn't resist the opportunity to show up supsalemgr in front of his new pals. Not that they'll ever admit it's happened, but they and he know.
The handful of proxies I tried wouldn't work, but Tor does just fine. It even seems faster than it did last year.
Too bad. I see a certain bowhunting nascarfan wet himself over your John Barth.
