So a bunch of white college kids dressed in black face robbed a local Publix, angry that the price of milk included a sales tax. They then dumped the milk in the gutter outside.
Okay not really. But how is this any different than the Boston Tea Party patriots dumping tea in the bay? They could have protested the tax by simply not purchasing the tea. Instead they stole it from its rightful owners and dumped it.

I think you may have missed the context of the tea incident. they were protesting that no tax was being levied on the corporate/royal owned tea in order to make it less expensive than tea sold by the little guyOmbudsman wrote:So a bunch of white college kids dressed in black face robbed a local Publix, angry that the price of milk included a sales tax. I think you missed the analogy. They stole tea belonging to someone else and destroyed it.billy.pilgrim wrote:I think you may have missed the context of the tea incident. they were protesting that no tax was being levied on the corporate/royal owned tea in order to make it less expensive than tea sold by the little guyOmbudsman wrote:So a bunch of white college kids dressed in black face robbed a local Publix, angry that the price of milk included a sales tax. How about this analogy? We stole our whole country, but so far haven't destroyed all of it.

Actually, if we were alive we'd resemble the punk remark.
