The owner of a storage facility in Whitehorse Road said he believes his building was targeted because of its proximity to Highway 25.
Greenville County deputies have started an investigation to try to determine who spray-painted the message on the building.
The owner said it is not the first time a "racist and disrespectful message" has been left on his building.
Investigators believe that the vandalism happened between midnight Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday
The FBI will be notified because the graffiti included a threat against President Barack Obama.
The owner is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
