Are politicians psychopaths?
That's pretty convincing. I never really thought about it in this way.

Re: Are politicians psychopaths?
too simplistic. many people get into and stay in politics for all the right reasons – tough decisions come with the territory
of course there are those who get into politics just to satisfy their quest for power
if there is any one group that can be identified as psychopaths out for power for the sake of power, it has to be the leos – easy job to get, almost complete immunity from the law – hell, you can even shoot people and just say, oops

People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

I was gonna say; it's "opps" around here in honorable mention of a king hell wingnut from the recent past. By the way, I can't believe the royals named that kid after Zimmerman. Dumbasses.Boatrocker wrote:Fer the record, you don't hafta say, "Oops." Or even "Opps."

Re: Are politicians psychopaths?
I think maybe Weiner may be a borderline psychopath; he does a lot of weird shit with apparent disregard or deliberate contempt regarding imminent or future consequences. I wouldn't be surprised to hear about him strolling across the Brooklyn bridge naked at noon for his next trick. He's like the social equivalent of the political psycho Bachmann. Hell, our own state legislators are apparent potential psychopaths; they've done nothing I can see other than propose things that benefit a few and harm the many. If they could kill the voters they didn't consider "with them" with no moral or legal ramifications, I bet they'd do it tomorrow. And I sort of think that if the guy in the clip had killed the Hitler baby, there would have been another Hitler instead. Probably Hister, like Nostrodomus said it was. But I could be wrong.
