If Clemson stays #1 it's BS. It should drop below all undefeated top 10 teams.
Shoulda gone for the tie.

Of course the idiots at ESPN who refuse to allow enough time for the overlapping games prevented me from seeing the first minutes, but it looks like Boobee scored on our first play and he may have taken out their mascot.

At least 1 of the TV talking heads says that Auburn should be #1 if it wins this evening.

I supported going for 2. An analyst said, paraphrased: "More time gives the Clemson talent advantage more time to shine."

Nice sentiment, but I warn you, they'll break your heart. Because that's what they do.
Go 'Heels +26.5. 14 out of 19 picked Clemson, my biggest oddball pick of the day.

Not sure who "Colonel Rebel Brown Bear Land Sharks" is - Mississippi vs @(2)Alabama? Good luck, the spread is 37.5. 13 out of 19 picked Alabama, tied for my 2nd biggest oddball pick of the day with Mississippi St +10.5 @(7)Auburn....
I hope your heart ain't broken, O Really, that was amazing.

@N. Carolina +26.5 (1)Clemson, just like Nov 2020 Blue > Orange.
Yes  .
@(17)Washington -10 (21)USC, knock it back out of the rankings.
Yes, by 4 points  . Congrats, O Reallys.
@(10)Notre Dame -12.5 (18)Virginia (4-0). Not sure about this one, an unbeaten Virginia trouncing Clemson in the ACC championship would be a beautiful thing. I may let the final Vegas swing, no matter how small, decide for me. Opinions?
 Again, I posted (since deleted) that I'd switched based on Vegas, again I forgot to actually make the switch - 3 weeks in a row now  - again it worked out. Notre Dame beat the spread by 2.5  .
@(25)Michigan St barely beat 14-point underdog Indiana on a FG with 5 seconds left, may get knocked out of the rankings  .

I'm on a 7-0 run, 8-4, in a 3-way tie for 1st!

We are about to kick off
Again

6 minutes into the game
I think we have had 6, maybe 7 offensive plays
2 scoring drives 2 plays or less

21 to zero

And you went with State

Auburn beating the 10.5-point spread means that the best I can do is tie for 1st. :(

It was 56-0 in the 3rd, but UCF 56, CONN 21. I was right, honorable sports. That put me into just a 2-way tie for 1st.

OH St 48, NEB 7
AUB 56, MSST 23  Congrats.
OKST 26, KSU 13
9-1 run, I’m in a 2-way tie for 2nd, 1 out of the lead.

If Washington St +5 @(19)Utah, I’m in a 3-way tie for 1st  , $31.67. If Utah beats the spread I’m in a 3-way tie for 2nd, $11.08.

$$$!

NE has a CB named Dicaprio Bootle, named for Leo. That's crazy. Who keeps a name like Bootle?

Edit: Yep $11.08. 10-6 on the day. The winner is 12-4, SiL is 5-11. I'm tied for season 4th, 4 points out of the lead.

AP Rankings

1 Alabama (5-0)
2 Clemson (5-0) Bullshit, should be #8.
3 Georgia (4-0)
4 Ohio State (5-0) Okay, but without enthusiasm.
5 LSU (4-0) Okay, but without enthusiasm.
6 Oklahoma (4-0)
7 Auburn (5-0) Was #7. No opinion, but I would have been okay with it if it skipped some teams.
8 Wisconsin (4-0) Go Badgers!
9 Notre Dame (3-1) Okay, but without enthusiasm.
10 Florida (5-0) Okay, but without enthusiasm.
11 Texas (3-1) Okay.
12 Penn State (4-0) Ugh.
13 Oregon (3-1) Hang in there.
14 Iowa (4-0) Playoffs if they win out in the Big 10.
15 Washington (4-1) Up from #17  .
16 Boise State (4-0) Playoffs! :P
17 Utah (4-1)
18 UCF (4-1) Moving back up from #22 after demolishing powerhouse CT  .
19 Michigan (3-1) That huge loss to WI really hurt it.
20 Arizona State (4-1)
21 Oklahoma State (4-1)
22 Wake Forest (5-0) As good as Clemson, head-to-head 11/16. Go Demon Deacons, words I've never uttered before.
23 Virginia (4-1)
24 SMU (5-0)
25 Michigan State (4-1)
25 Texas A&M (3-2) Tied with the gymnast molesters. This justifies Clemson's #2?!

Were offline games on Mon, not sure why:

Go:

@(13)Oregon -17.5 California.
Hmmm, I like Oregon (3-1) a bit more and support whichever team is doing better. However, dropping Cal (4-1) all the way from #15 to unranked after it lost a close game to now #20 AZ St (4-1) seems extreme, as does the 17.5 point spread. Cal only lost to (15)Washington by a point, and Oregon only beat weak Stanford (2-3) by 15 on 9/21. Your thoughts?

Funny you ask. I was just thinking that I almost never have the pretension that I know more than Vegas, except that I sometimes question when a team will stop running up the score in a blowout. I'm often wrong, like Auburn vs Kent St ;) , sometimes correct like UCF vs CT. So, I bet on what I want to see happen. If I switch to Cal +17.5, it'll be a very rare exception to my norm.

#7 Auburn (5-0) is favored by 3 vs #10 Florida (5-0). That's saying that Auburn is the better team by 6 if we account for the traditional 3-point home field advantage Florida has. I have no reason to dispute that and I'm taking Florida plus the 3 just because.
