O Really and his Phillie Phanatic took a quick trip east to support his Iggles 34-27 victory over formerly undefeated Green Bay sat Lambeau:

Gonna need to add an I-5 logo now.

The Lions currently lead the NFC North. :wtf:

Women may not play professional football (yet) but it’s time for a level playing field. @CarliLloyd is #AllStrengthNoSweat

... The two-time FIFA World Cup winner made headlines after Team USA won it's second World Cup in a row, when she kicked a 55-yard field goal at the Eagles' training camp.

(video)

She later said she would be interested in playing for an NFL team, especially if it means football would be more inclusive to female players

The Buccaneers would be a great place for Lloyd to start — the team has had 11 kickers since 2009, tied for first for the most in that span....
I get that it’s a serious message, but  . Poor Bucs' kicker.

Non existent offensive line? Maybe with Seattle; Kamara was pretty offensive from their point of view.
Seahawks O-line is going to get Wilson killed.
Kamara is indeed a beautiful runner, making the defense look as inept as the O-line.
Russell Wilson only sacked once and 167 Net Rushing Yards.

2:30 left - I just about died when Carson juggled that easy 4th down pass from Wilson in the end zone, but he snagged the rebound. Whew. Too bad about the 2-point bobble and drop. Then, that Thompson INT was amazing! Finally, unbelievably, they came less than a yard wide right from losing. Wow.

AFC - Pats, KC and Bills, then everyone else with 2 wins or fewer. Weird.
Seahawks 4-1, cool. 49ers are the only undefeated NFC team left, even weirder. I wonder which Browns they’ll play on Sun.

None that nearby, but I probably could have found one if I'd known it would be that good of a game. I'd have to buy a plaid flannel shirt to meet dress code. Anyway, the game came on at 5:00 and we weren't back from our day on the Klickitat rail/trail. https://parks.state.wa.us/869/Klickitat-Trail
There's always football games - not always nice fall days biking the Columbia River Gorge.

Nice:

Carolina > Jacksonville, 3-0 without Cam.
New Orleans > Tampa Bay, 2-1 without Brees.
Oakland > Chicago!!!
New England > Washington
Denver > LA Chargers
Green Bay > Dallas!! Philadelphia has caught up.
Indianapolis > Kansas City, stunner, not that I'm a Colts fan, but it's good to see KC get a loss, and Oakland is now only a game behind it.
Baltimore > Pittsburgh! Leading the AFC North solo, at least until Mon. night.
Missing Big Ben?

Never mind:

Steelers' Mason Rudolph knocked unconscious in Ravens game

Ouch.

Because that's worked out so well for them over the last 27 years. No coach over .500 since Joe Gibbs 1981–1992, not even Joe Gibbs 2004–2007. Sorry, new interim head coach Bill Callahan, some things rot from the very top down to your level.

Deshaun Watson makes NFL history in 53-32 win

DW4 was on fire today.

Deshaun Watson had a career day in the Texans' 53-32 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon.

Watson completed 28-for-33 passes for a career-high 426 passing yards and career-tying five touchdowns totaling a career-best 158.3 passer rating (perfect rating). On the ground, he had 47 yards and wasn't sacked.

He is the third player in the Super Bowl era with 400 passing yards, five passing touchdowns, and a perfect passer rating in a game. He is also the first player in NFL history to throw for more than 400 yards and five touchdowns with five or fewer incompletions in a single game.

I think anything sweaty and dusty from a trail ride meets the pub dress code in WA/OR. Or, just keep a Seahawks cap in the car - that'll make even a tux okay. :D

Niners still unbeaten, who woulda thunk it? The Seahawks are only a half game behind and would be the #1 Wildcard if the season ended now  . They don't play each other for the first time for another month.

Especially a Canadian tuxedo. Still have to have the flannel shirt, though.
We're in Bend, now, and standards seemed to have changed. Any bikewear, or any outfit that looks like you might have been rock climbing, or anything that would show you're mainly just killing time until the slopes open.

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has launched the 'Deshaun Watson Foundation' which is a non-profit organization to support education, health, housing, and other charitable causes for families and youth in underserved communities.

“I am humbled and honored that I have the opportunity to make a difference and positively impact children and families in need through the Deshaun Watson Foundation,” Watson said in a statement. “I would not be where I am today without the help from others. Now it’s my turn to step in and make a difference through the Foundation.”

Ouch.
Steelers > LAC 24-17. You know you have a good team when you win in the NFL with an undrafted 23 year-old 3rd string QB and champion duck caller from Samford. That said, Devlin Hodges was no slouch in school.

New one to me:
