https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/texa ... takeaways/

The Texans were able to slay the Chiefs and hand them their second loss in as many weeks at Arrowhead Stadium to move to 4-2 on the season. Houston's 31-24 victory was led by quarterback Deshaun Watson, who takes the initial win in the first head-to-head matchup between him and Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Last year of his contract, anything short of the Superbowl, he's gone.

Poor Jerry.

Cool, but not much to brag about.

Former Clemson football QB Deshaun Watson was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. He’s proving what Tiger fans knew all along.

Deshaun Watson was a catalyst in the rise of the current Clemson run of positive seasons. He was the face of the rise to the Tigers ascent into the national championship conversation for many years. And upon his leaving for the NFL college draft, he has found continued success a at the next level.

While at Clemson, he helped his squad capture the National Championship in 2016, won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (2016), ACC Athlete of the Year in 2016 and also 2017, was a Heisman Trophy runner-up (2016), twice won the Davey O’Brien Award and also the Manning Award in 2015 and 2016, Consensus All-American (2015) and in 2015 was the ACC Player of the Year.

Ooooh, you get Cleveland - Sorry. Why no 'Skins-Iggles?
Because Tennessee is closer, even a bit more so to Spartanburg, SC (CBS)?

I don't mind, I've liked Tennessee's QB Mariota since Oregon and the Browns are better than they used to be. I'm mostly watching the Panthers, anyhow.
Report: Ryan Tannehill replacing Marcus Mariota at QB for Titans

Sigh, that's a shame. I hope he sorts out his game and makes it back to starting somewhere.

Hey, my tvguide.com says that I should be getting Oakland Raiders at Green Bay Packers on CBS. Instead, it's Houston at Indy. Yawn, bastards. I'll stick with Rams at ATL.

Later: New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears.

I don't hate the Ravens, killing the AFC North, but I am lucky that I didn't get the Oakland game.

Might have to punt on the Bears, no O line, no QB. Trubisky might just be a whiff.

Thanks, but it takes more than NFL teams losing to give me a bad day.

Fuckin' Brady.

Remember back when ousting Drew Bledsoe seemed unfair and quite possibly a mistake? Yeah, neither can I.

Raiders are 3-3 and surprisingly are 7th in the AFC, just half a game out of Wildcard position. Stomp those @Houston Texans.
Go @Ravens! 11/3 after a bye vs Patsies, and all the way.

NFC East remains the worst, “led” by 4-3 ‘boys, Iggles are just a game back. Go @Giants > ‘boys 11/4, Iggles > surprising @Bills.
5-2 Seahawks and Vikings currently in Wildcard position, cool.
Saints and Panthers, still: We don’t need no stinkin’ startin’ QB.
In the same order, beat the @Falcons, DC tomorrow night, Cardinals and . . . Nah, go undefeated @49ers > Panthers.

How bout' that, Hunter Renfrow & Clelin Ferrell will be on a different sideline than Deshaun Watson & DeAndre Hopkins.

Improved, but not championship quality. Bulls may make the playoffs. At least they should be watchable. Jury is out on the Hawks.

Could be a long cold sports winter.

I wish the Saints AND Brees all the best vs the Cardinals, but it would be ironic if they lost.
