 I left NC in April 15 but I can be there in about 45 minutes. Hope the guy isn't sent to a diversion program that's run by sycophants and acolytes of the trump cult; might send him over the edge. I know I wouldn't be able to take it.

I'm kind of surprised that, as far as I know, no one has commented on trump changing his residence to FL from NY so now any "A Florida Man" story will automatically default to a trump story. Maybe he's about to file bankruptcy again; I've read somewhere that in FL you can keep your house if you go bankrupt. It may only apply to dog houses, crack houses, houses of ill repute, and tree houses; not sure.

It's easy to become a resident of Florida. But usually the problem comes in - if there is one - from the state you left if they think you're just dodging taxes. That's when you'd have to show that your really did reside in Florida for 181 days or so. It's not that Florida cares - it's the other place you have property or performed work. It'll be interesting to see if NY really does stay with the good riddance or if they'll try to add to the misery of his life just for sport.

Kind of thinking old Yellowstain might have a bit of a problem. Mar-A-Lago is only open six months, it'll be real easy to prove he wasn't a resident there the entire time.

I'm not opining overall - anything that discomforts 45SHOLE is great - but whether the resort was open won't matter. He has a private residence there.

I don't see that it makes any difference where he claims "domicile." He's long had a residence and presence in Palm Beach anyway. Besides, most people living in Florida moved there from somewhere else, so it's not like he's automatically going to get some "favorite son" benefit or people will be thinking, "oh, now that he's a real Florida Man, I'll ignore what a totally miserable human being he is and vote for him."

Unlike the current impeachment hearings, where the burden of proof is on the House of Representatives, here the burden of proof is on the president to prove that he is no longer a New York resident,” said Michael Kosnitzky, who chairs the private wealth group at the law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. “The burden is squarely on him.

He is not gonna like that!

He may want to be cautious down there; his place could fall victim to one of those giant sinkholes they have down there. Hell, he could even be swallowed up by the godawful Deep State of Florida, never to be seen again. The cult would chant "deep state we hate" at the memorial and several speakers will blame Democrats and the media for the tragedy because they know that's what trump would do.

Comments under a different article:

Sunday's tweet: Largest crowd EVER at the Garden! Best standing ovation any president has ever received! The roar was deafening. People kept saying to me, "You know, Mister President, keep up the great job you're doing." The adoring crowds outside were just fantastic. Beautiful people! Great people! The BEST!
 Actual POSPOTUS tweets since:
"RT @DonaldJTrumpJr: Despite the (bs) from blue checkmark Twitter, when we walked into the arena it was overwhelmingly positive."

"RT @EricTrump: At #UFC244 - chanting 'Donald Trump, Donald Trump... USA USA'"

"RT @TaraLaRosa: #NEW: Pres. Trump arrives at Madison Square Garden to a positive reaction from the crowd ahead of #UFC244 ."
More comments:
Tonight on Hannity; Trump rally fills Madison Square Garden.
Fans then began to chant “lock him up” in an apparent reference to the House impeachment inquiry, and a take on Trump’s taunts directed at Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign.

‘I Don’t Want to Hang Out With’ Trump, Nationals Pitcher Rejects White House Celebration Invite
The Washington Nationals World Series winner Sean Doolittle said the president’s “divisive rhetoric” and “enabling of conspiracy theories” are just some of the reasons he won’t attend the celebration

... “People say you should go because it’s about respecting the office of the president,” Doolittle said. “And I think over the course of his time in office he’s done a lot of things that maybe don’t respect the office.”

Doolittle said that the president encourages racism and white supremacist ideology, saying that Trump’s “rhetoric, time and time again, has enabled those kind of behaviors.” The pitcher continued, “That never really went away, but it feels like now people with those beliefs, they maybe feel a little bit more empowered. They feel like they have a path, maybe. I don’t want to hang out with somebody who talks like that.”

Doolittle also hammered the president for his “divisive rhetoric” and “enabling of conspiracy theories.”

“There’s a lot of things, policies that I disagree with, but at the end of the day, it has more to do with the divisive rhetoric and the enabling of conspiracy theories and widening the divide in this country,” Doolittle said....

Doolittle stressed that the decision not to be with his teammates in celebration was not easy, saying, “I want people to know that I put thought into this and, at the end of the day, I just can’t go.”
:-|| Pretty cool, especially since he looks like he walked off the set of Duck Dynasty.

Donald Trump's latest tweets!
The Angry Majority!
Walking into Madison Square Garden last night with @danawhite for the big @UFC Championship fight was a little bit like walking into a Trump Rally. Plenty of MAGA & KAG present. Great energy. Fantastic job Dana! Heading to D.C. and then to Kentucky for a big @MattBevin Rally...
A guess: He never would have gone to a UFC event except that his delicate ego was so bruised by the WS and he thought that he'd get a better reception.

There's probably not going to be any more real public appearances. All crowds will be curated, like Trump's appearance at a "black" college. He might get by with a trip to a Bammer game.
