The last time they had more than 9 wins was 1999.
The last time before 2017 that they made the Playoffs was also 1999, when they lost the Wild Card Playoffs (at Titans) 22-16.
The last time they won in the Playoffs was the Wild Card Playoffs (Dolphins) 37-22 in 1995.
Maybe it was a reference to the 1999 or 1995 team.
The last time they won the AFC was in 1993, their 4th lost Super Bowl in 4 years.

Out of these games that I care about, Philadelphia @Miami and Jets-Bengals are indeed the ones I care least about watching.

That's a pretty rotten selection this year, though Steelers-Browns has some interesting backstory and both are vying for the 2nd AFC Wildcard slot.

Though I've lived both places I never noticed that the East gets two early and one late game on the same day that the West gets one early and two late games. Here today it's:

It's not always the same schedule. Local teams have to be covered. But the early game here is 10:00 a.m. and the "late" game is 1:00. And "Sunday Night Football" is 5:30. So maybe they might try to get as many west coast teams scheduled to play the "second" game as they can.

Sometimes, local team home games get blacked out, but both of the mediocre-this-year LA teams are playing away games against lousy opponents - AZ & Denver.

Could be, idk. When I lived there I thought it could be either 2 early/1 late or 1 early/2 late, but it's been awhile. I think it goes both ways here, but now I'm not sure.

Just checked, on 12/8 it does flip here to 1 early/2 late.

Deshaun Watson reacts to beating Tom Brady

The Houston Texans defeated the New England Patriots 28-22 on Sunday night.

Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson finally got a win against one of his idols growing up as he played impressively completing 18-for-25 with 234 passing yards and four touchdowns (3 passing, 1 receiving).

“You know, that’s my role model, a guy that’s been doing it forever,” Watson said. “[He’s been playing for] over 20 years, I’m only alive for 20 years, so it’s pretty awesome to finally get one and to just see the love and respect we have for each other and it was big. So, it was awesome.”
