No Vred, your continuing attempts to redefine the US military based on your interpretation of selective reading is ridiculous. If you and Dingle think cuts to Tricare does not affect Veterans you are smoking rope.

Tricare serves all Veterans who qualify but more so Tricare serves active duty who are stationed where installation medical facilities cannot care for their medical needs. There was a time when most installations could take care of all but the very rarest of medical issues but cut backs along the way have reduced most installation hospitals to clinic status.

Care at a VA Hospital is not automatic just becuase one is a Veteran nor is it automatic if one is a retired Veteran.

Dingle, Tricare recipients already make co-payments, premiums also, and there is co-pay for medications received at a VA pharmacy.

You can color it anyway you want to but Obama lied to Veterans.

The VA budget has only gone up under Obama. It is now double -- in real money -- what it was when Reagan started, and there were over 30% more members of the military back then. Obama has proposed raises for the VA in every budget he's submitted, unlike Bush, who proposed actual VA budget cuts as part of his deficit reduction package. LINK

And that bit of hypocrisy was by the man who sent the soldiers to the wars that caused the explosion for the need for VA care.

Yet everything Bush did was gold and everything Obama does is bad.
