I like Ted Lieu; he's the CA Congressman that told Nunes to "shove it" when Devin said he'd sue Ted for bad mouthing him. Hell, as far as I'm concerned, anybody that doesn't bad mouth Nunes should be sued. I curse that bastard on an almost hourly basis.

This Repug joker is running in my NC 11. Why clutter up a website with things like credentials, history, endorsements and issues? All you really need is a mailing list signup and a donation page.
I just saw an ad of his on TV this morning. I'd share it, but it looks like his people are too stupid to put it on his website, YouTube or anywhere else on the web. Anyhow, "liberals" want to ban 9mm pistols despite Heller precluding that, and they also want to ban cheeseburgers
. Davis and I agree on one thing - Repugs are dumb and gullible enough to swallow that garbage.

11 Repug clowns are running, six do not live in NC 11.
Jim Davis is the one candidate to have served in elected office, N.C. Sen.
He's an orthodontist in Franklin (Macon County).
... “Sen. Davis has been a warrior for conservative values in North Carolina,” Davis’ announcement states. “While in Raleigh, Jim has been named ‘Jobs Champion’ by The N.C. Chamber of Commerce, and has a lifetime rating of 91% by the American Conservative Union.”
In his announcement, Davis highlights his voting record regarding abortion and Second Amendment issues in the General Assembly.
It also states that Davis has voted for every pro-life bill that has come up for debate in the General Assembly while voting against every bill that would have weakened the Second Amendment, the later of which earned him an A-rating from the national Rifle Association....

The fool obviously doesn't recognize the hazard of mixing his business with his politics. On one hand, if he's a GOP clown, now all his patients will know it; this will likely alienate about half of them and result in a loss of income. On the other hand, he's a rabid "pro life" guy who has his eye on future patients and clown constituents.Vrede too wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 10:43 amIdk. In Iowa's small black community, little love for the caucuses or Joe Biden
Interesting read to me. Their well thought out rationales suggest the possibility of fluidity in Black primary voting. We'll see.

I'm pretty sure that 1 FAT CAN is our disgraced former Sheriff Rick Davis. Clearly, our LEO standards are not very high in WNC, but they're far lower in SC.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 9:36 amIs this clown related to the former Henderson County sheriff Davis? They don't want a leftist defecating in their neighborhood.
But in this Des Moines neighborhood, there is barely a campaign sign in sight.
Residents here, in two dozen interviews, said they felt overlooked by the Democratic candidates, a troubling sign for a party that will need the support of African-American voters for its eventual nominee in the Nov. 3 presidential election.

TV news:
SC in top 10 for worst violence against women.
SC has worst rural roads as measured by fatalities.
Coincidence?

Our Endorsement: “Not Pete Buttigieg” for President
Largely over corporate and fat cat donors. Not a deal breaker for me, but I'm not happy about it. They also don't like Biden's donors and track record:

I'm no fan of Citizens United nor of corporations being able to buy their own personal politician. But it seems that as long as they're legal, that declining corporate donations is a lot like letting your opponent start on your 35 yard line in lieu of a kickoff.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib Boos Hillary Clinton At Bernie Sanders Iowa Event
“Haters will shut up on Monday when we win,” said the Michigan congresswoman.
Hillary, her surrogates and her fans are having a cow over this. However:
Along with other nasty things. If you don't want to get booed by Dems, STFU!... The moderator, Iowa activist and former school board member Dionna Langford, noted that Clinton recently claimed that “nobody likes” Sanders ...
... Clinton complained in a podcast interview Friday that Sanders didn’t do enough to unite the Democratic Party after he lost the 2016 primary — and that it affected the general election....

Bernie did 34 appearances for Hillary after the convention.
Hillary did 12 appearances for Obama in 2008.
Reasonable people can debate Bernie's impact - harmful because he's too left, helpful because he's anti-establishment. However, my guess is that few people will argue that mentions of Hillary this year help the nominee in any way.
