Perhaps the best concert I ever went to.

I never got to see Pink Floyd live, but I saw the light shows a couple of times. Not the same, but still good.

On to a totally different direction, we saw this group a couple of nights ago on a PBS begging night. Really excellent. Celtic Thunder

I must add that I liked Janis' "Me and Bobby McGee" but everything else she did I consider marginal at best.

Janis sometimes had some marginal musicians playing with her, but nobody ever poured themselves into a song like she did. She is not Grace Slick, but Grace Slick isn't Debbie Harry, either. I'd gladly sit on an anthill to be able to listen to any of them in person.

Yeah, well, Janis I consider the female Joe Cocker; neither of them could sing worth a damn but the emotion they injected into the songs was the hook. And I consider Grace Slick to be on a higher plane than Debbie by a factor of ten.
