The critter in the photo Neo posted looks like it's got a long tail.
AFAIK, orangutans don't have long tails.

Could be.
I wonder if this advice applies to avoiding a confrontation with Sarah Sanders in her natural habitat?

Good advice also for encounters with a Sarah in the bargain basement? If one presents itself aggressively by standing tall, showing its teeth, vocalizing a threat, or charging towards you, don’t make eye contact, and back away slowly without turning your back.

Thanks. I found this, I'm convinced.

You learn this in a client relations seminar?

Idk whether the plea to reduced charges is a victory or not, but they better destroy the guns fast before the MO governor can issue pardons. Won't matter, though. Gift replacements are probably already in the mail. It doesn't look like the assholes are precluded from owning.

Ah, drinking early today, eh? I plan to get after it myself shortly. But I don't go all to pieces when I do.
That comment was my reply to the discovery that the photo of an alleged sloth was, in fact, not a sloth. "Putting a lid" on something, in this case slothism, means ending the ambiguity or controversy regarding a subject. Drink up!

If there is such a thing as slothism, can the Slothists be far behind?
And, what, exactly, is slothism? Kind of slow and lazy? Like retirement?

Re: The Karen Collection
Slothism is the condition (or religion) of imagining that Guinea Baboons are sloths. Briefly, it’s a ‘guinea foul’. Before other mammals get mislabeled it's best to rapidly (in a non-slothful manner) put a lid on it. Like this:
Holy Lidurgy!

Re: The Karen Collection

Police handcuffed a Black realtor and his client as he was showing a home after a neighbor called and said they were breaking in
... Police told them the house was broken into weeks earlier and that a neighbor had called to say it was happening again. They said the neighbor thought she recognized their car as the same black Mercedes used by the person that had broken in.
When police arrived, the cars outside the home were a Chevrolet and a Hyundai, according to The Post....

Re: The Karen Collection
Responding to a call about a break-in - fine.
Calling to the people inside the house to come out - fine
Getting out the handcuffs before giving them the opportunity to identify themselves - overkill.
Questions - was there a "for sale" sign in the yard? Was this the only time the house had been shown? Were these the only people who had gone into the house while it was on the market? Or were they, just possibly maybe, the only black people who had been there?

Tigger . . . TIGGER?!(White) ‘Karen’ called out for approaching Black neighbor over ‘Tigger’ flag: ‘We have rules’
...
https://www.tiktok.com/@tizzybizzy92/vi ... _webapp=v1
...
“I want to talk about this Tigger flag,” the woman stated, as reported by The Sun. “I don’t like it.”
‘Karen’ said the American flag was “real nice” but the Tigger flag — not so much.

Ummm, absent an HOA the “rules for the community" is the 1st Amendment, Karen.“And we have rules,” the woman continued. “I don’t want to have to go find out what they are, but I don’t like that.”
The woman went on about “rules for the community,” with Ambrosia noting that their neighborhood does not have a homeowner’s association.
Wow, a hundredfold decrease. I'll bet that most of the 325 are named for a relative or ancestor.... According to the HuffPost, new data from the Social Security Administration suggests ‘Karen’ has fallen from grace with new parents in 2020, ranking No. 831 in popularity in the United States for female baby names last year. This is the lowest ranking the previously popular ‘Karen’ has ever had on the list since 1932.
“It’s usually used as a pejorative for middle-aged white women,” explained Matt Schimkowitz, a senior editor at Know Your Meme, an online meme encyclopedia, said.
“It’s almost like they have an entitlement, where they’re kind of lording their privilege over another.”
Only a measly 439 babies were named Karen in 2019 and in 2020 that number dropped to 325. This is a stark contrast to 1965, when Karen was at its peak popularity, with almost 33,000 given that name.
Someone should organize a costumed founders/Pooh/cat protest in from of Karen’s home.

Prosecutors dropped the case in February after she completed five "psychoeducation and therapy" sessions that helped her "appreciate that racial identities shape our lives" and that "we cannot use them to harm ourselves or others," Assistant District Attorney Joan Illuzzi said.

Sheesh, Karen, get over it and move on.The former employer of 'Central Park Karen' Amy Cooper is trying to get her wrongful termination lawsuit against them thrown out
... In the lawsuit, Amy Cooper alleged she was a victim of gender and racial discrimination. Her attorneys allege Franklin Templeton Investments didn't conduct an adequate investigation into the incident and that Christian Cooper was a notoriously "overzealous birdwatcher" with a history of aggression against dog walkers.
Franklin Templeton's attorneys note that Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance investigated and charged Amy Cooper with falsely reporting an incident in the third degree. Her charges were later dropped after she completed five "psychoeducation and therapy" courses.
Despite issuing public apologies, Amy Cooper continues to say she wasn't in the wrong, including in an interview with podcaster Kmele Foster on Bari Weiss' show earlier this month.
"He's holding these dog treats in one hand and a bike helmet in his other hand, and I'm thinking, 'Oh, my God, is this guy going to lure my dog over and try to hit him with his bike helmet?'" Amy Cooper said. "And if I end up over there, am I going to get hit by this bike helmet?"
Franklin Templeton's CEO said in a July interview that she stood by her decision to fire Amy Cooper....
