Just read an article that Novavax's new peptide based (?) vaccine (still pending EUA in the USA) is significantly safer and just as effective as the mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna. Probably it's cheaper to produce as well.
It's probably just some sort of Chinese synthetic heroin that they peddle to folks like you and the husband of my congressional representative. I'd advise you to stay away from it. Stomp it if at all possible. Pretend it's a neoplacenta or a neoplastica marital device. Run.
I see.
But I have a tiny question: When did Maryland, where Novavax is located, become part of the Peoples Republic of China?
DeSantis will respond with whining about what a victim he is . billy.pilgrim will pay for his loser, genocidal schemes.
... Elsewhere, the US city of Austin, Texas, home to 2.4 million people, has just six available hospital beds in its intensive care wards.
Officials in the lone star state described the situation as “dire” while Governor Greg Abbott was accused of having “deaths on his hands” for preventing counties, cities, public health authorities and local government bodies from requiring people to wear masks or be vaccinated.
In a dramatic illustration of the crisis, an 11-month-old girl with Covid-19 had to be airlifted more than 150 miles from Houston to Temple for treatment this week because all five paediatric hospitals in the state’s largest city were full.
That's awful, unheard of.
... About half of all new infections and hospitalisations in the past week were in seven southern states – Florida, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi – even though they represent less than a quarter of the country’s population, said White House coronavirus coordinator, Jeff Zients.
In Alabama firebrand republican Marjorie Taylor Greene was cheered at a political fundraiser when she suggested that people take up arms against volunteers promoting coronavirus vaccines through door-to-door outreach.
The state has the lowest vaccination rate in the country with only a third of its five million residents fully vaccinated.
Some 65,000 vaccine shots have been thrown away by health authorities in the state because they expired.
In America, more than 616,000 people have died from the virus.
Maaaybe GOP solidarity is starting to collapse in the face of all the illness and death:
Sen. Bill Cassidy said Sunday he disagrees with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' opposition to mask mandates in schools.
“I do disagree with Gov. DeSantis. The local officials should have control here,” the Louisiana Republican said on CNN’s "State of the Union."
Cassidy, a physician, added that “when it comes to local conditions, if my hospital is full, and my vaccination rate is low and infection rate is going crazy, we should allow local officials to make those decisions best for their community.” ...
... “Anti-vax people, I’m sorry, I think they’re fruitcakes,” he said. “There’s plenty of evidence to show that vaccination helps. On the whole they’ve been very safe. There’s always going to be some side effect in any drug you take, but to go around saying vaccines are a plot to kill you, I’m sorry, that goes in the fruitcake jar for me.”
... In late July, Clapton announced that he would not play any shows where audience members were required to show proof of vaccination. In his statement, he noted that he didn’t want to play for a “discriminated audience.”
“Following the PM’s announcement on Monday the 19th of July 2021 I feel honor-bound to make an announcement of my own,” Clapton’s statement said. “I wish to say that I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present. Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show.”
In November of last year, with lockdowns and quarantines still very much in effect, Clapton teamed up with Van Morrison to create “Stand and Deliver,” an anti-lockdown song (the fourth of its kind from Van Morrison).
Brian May is hetero, but it's still kinda funny to be called "fruitcakes" by one of Queen's founders.
Fwiw:
Brian Harold May CBE (born 19 July 1947) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, author, astrophysicist, and university administrator. He is the lead guitarist of the rock band Queen....
Eric Clapton and Van Morrison don't have any science degrees. It shows.
Out here in Cali we don't play stupid pointless games like that.
:?:
Ummm, CA is the reigning global champion of "stupid pointless games", nttawwt. Hollywood much?
CA has some counties that are even more Dem than Montgomery in MD.
Then, just down the road from you is:

Got any more "stupid pointless" things to say?
Yeah, I lived in Berkeley for over a decade. Was there for the People's Park creation. I may not be as radical as you appear to be, but I've done my bit for the "cause".

So let's stop fighting, OK?
Some disagreements, but we don't fight over politics. Rather, it's about your character. For example, you're now deflecting from whatever "stupid pointless" thing you meant here:

... “They can’t arrest all of us. They can’t keep all of your kids home from school. They can’t keep every government building closed – although I’ve got a long list of ones they might keep closed, or might oughta (sic) keep closed.
“We don’t have to accept the mandates, lockdowns, and harmful policies of the petty tyrants and feckless bureaucrats. We can simply say no, not again.”
... “Why the f**k is Rand Paul telling parents to ignore the CDC,” wrote Democrat Jake Lobin, “after children’s Covid hospitalisations just jumped 118% in Kentucky?” ...
