Do I know UNC football, or what?
And the U had to take the week off to keep from losing to somebody else.
And next week they play each other.
Good lord.
Losing to 1-4 FSU in Chapel Hill is especially humiliating.

One would think. But with the series 16-3 in favor of the 'Noles. They're probably used to it.

Wow, walkoff FG by unranked @Texas A&M. Buh-bye 19 game win streak. First time that a former asst coach has beaten Saban.
25 @San Diego State (4-0) > New Mexico (2-3). Go O Really, but who would have guessed that your team would have the 2nd most lopsided spread in the top 25, 19.5? San Diego State is only the 2nd favorite that I want to win. It's not looking to be a good day.
8 min left, but at 31-7 I'll call it a San Diego State win, 5-0. Congrats!

Non-top 25:
@USC > Utah. USC is favored by 3.
Nope, Joseph Smith wins.
I'm 5-7, but the top 10 Bammer, PSU and BYU losses makes it a great day regardless of other games. I think that I would have done pretty well vs the spreads.

Losers: #s 1, 4, 10, 13, 18, 21.

Did I? I had to look up who he is just now. Here's the only time I can find that I mentioned him:

Otoh, you and 1 FAT CAN had some dispute about him:

I'd rather see Madi Prewett shirtless. :o

1st quarter we looked pretty damn good, but then came the rest of the game.

I can't find it either. I searched crazy and insane. You commented something similar the time time you saw him. It must have been after the AU v Duke game in Maui.
He is insane on the sidelines, I wish I could remember what you said.

Do you remember watching the game?

No, it would have been 2019. It must have been someone else.

Okay, now that we've unsolved that. Starting fresh. Ain't my basketball coach crazy?

Edit: confirmed

That sucked
Silver lining: Y'all lost to the unanimous best team in the nation.

AP Top 25

1 Georgia (62 votes) 6-0 up1 :puke-left:
2 Iowa 6-0 up1 Nice.
3 Cincinnati 5-0 up2 Is that a record for a non-Power 5 team?
4 Oklahoma 6-0 up2 :puke-left:
5 Alabama 5-1 down4 A cynic might say that any other team would have dropped further after losing to a then unranked opponent. I'm a cynic.
6 Ohio State 5-1 up1 :puke-left:
7 Penn State 5-1 down3
8 Michigan 6-0 up1
9 Oregon 4-1 down1 Hurt by the bye. Next up Cal in Eugene.
10 Michigan State 6-0 up1 :puke-left:

17 Arkansas 4-2 down 4 Big penalty for going for 2.

19 BYU 5-1 down9

21 Texas A&M 4-2 was unranked

24 San Diego State 5-0 up1

Others receiving votes:
(26) Auburn 106 votes
(27) Clemson 63 votes
(32) Appalachian State 4-1, 2 votes (the coach and his mother  )
Tue, Oct 12: @Louisiana 4-1
Wed, Oct 20: 15 Coastal Carolina 6-0
2 wins should = top 25.

Dropped from rankings: Auburn was #18 Ouch, long fall for losing to #1.

Does that say more about the teams, the games, or - perhaps - the people who rank and pick? Seems the hapless 'Heels were originally #10.

Speaking of UNC and the U, a scoreless tie would seem appropriate, symbolic of the futility of their seasons. Sure, 3-3 and even 2-3 isn't a total washout, and there was the Dook stomping, but the lack of consistency and uncanny ability to lose to a supposedly lesser team doth not bode well for the rest of the season.

Good questions. Idk. Is there some mechanism creating greater parity, or one creating dumber sports writers?
