20. North Carolina State 8-3. Beat UNC.
21. San Diego State 10-1 down2 after winning??? FU PSC.
Thanks! Your endorsement undoubtedly increases the 'Heels chances dramatically.
Won't be enough. :P

All else equal I prefer UNC, but I'd like to see a public school NC team have a good year and get a strong Bowl. That ship done sailed for the formerly Top 10 UNC.

Out here in coastal California, most of the football interest is in NFL. I have read that in other parts of the USA college football is much more popular than it is here. Don't know why; I do know that none of the colleges I attended over the years had much overall interest even in their own football teams. OK, the frat rats would get all excited about the Cal Bears in Berkeley. But then they'd also get excited about a full keg of beer. The fans at UC Davis seemed to be more interested in cattle and horses. Cal does have a wonderful football stadium, Memorial, which straddles a major earthquake fault (Hayward). Shake, rattle, and roll.

Carry on.

Your regional difference claim is bunk. There are many places where the NFL is more popular than college ball, duh. One big reason for it in your area is that Stanford is only sporadically successful and SF/East Bay college teams usually suck. Didn't you know?

Having dispensed with your dumb premise, let's get back to your pretentious and insecure need to constantly tell us all about the things that you feel are beneath you.

Or, cower and deflect, Useless, cower and deflect.

GO:
@San Jose St 5-6 > Fresno St 8-3, 2nd MWC West Division. A Fresno St loss guarantees SDSU a slot in the Mountain West Championship game even if @SDSU loses to Boise St in its regular season finale on Friday.
Crap, not even close. GO @SDSU > Boise St.

Also GO, Fri:

Top 25

Colorado 4-7 > 23.5 point favorite @Utah (19) 8-3, 1st PAC12 South Division. Yeah, right.
6 point favorite @N.C. State (20) 8-3 > N. Carolina 6-5. Sorry.

Non-Top 25
@Texas 4-7 > Kansas St 7-4. Texas is favored by 3! :confusion-scratchheadblue:
UNLV 2-9 > 17.5 point favorite @Air Force 8-3, 1st MWC Mountain Division. Yeah, right.

@New Mexico 3-8 > 16.5 point favorite Utah St 8-3, 1st MWC Mountain Division FBS

IF Boise St > @SDSU AND UNLV > @Air Force AND @New Mexico > Utah St, then Boise St plays Fresno St in the Mountain West Championship game. So, there COULD be a silver lining to an @SDSU loss, but it's a very unlikely one. GO Aztecs!

In the 1st: Boise St 7, @SDSU 3.

Edit: The Boise St game commentators are only saying that Boise St would need UNLV > @Air Force. Maybe Boise St holds some tiebreaker over Utah St.

Boise St 16, @SDSU 13 at the half. Good game. @SDSU scored 10 in the final 1:43.
@New Mexico 0, Utah St 28 in the 2nd. Let's hope that Boise St, if it wins, doesn't need New Mexico.

Edit #2: @SDSU has scored 24 unanswered! 27-16 late in the 3rd.

Vs Utah St who must hold some tiebreaker over Air Force. I was rooting against both of those routs. :( :(

Wake Forest has lost 2 of its last 3 while Boston Coll has won 2 of its last 3. Go Wolfpack, go Eagles.

Aside: We can all agree that it's excellent that Clemson will not play in the ACC Championship if North Carolina State wins today.

Sorry.

That was nuts! How do you allow a wide open 64 yard pass TD with less then 2" left? How do you then allow a successful onside kick? How do you then allow a 24 yard pass TD to lose the game?

UNC 297 net yards rushing, season high. :clap:
NCSU QB Devin Leary sets a season record for passing TDs with 34 surpassing . . . Philip Rivers! :-||

Go Boston Coll, put North Carolina State in its first ever (remarkable!) ACC Championship game.

Army 7-3 @Liberty 7-4 :puke-left: :puke-left:
UMass 1-10 @N. Mex. St 1-10 :lol: Worst game of the day?

GO -

Top 25:

7.5 point favorite Ohio St (2) 10-1, 1st BTEN East Division > @Michigan (5) 10-1, 2nd BTEN East Division, but I'm not thrilled about it. Winner plays in the Big Ten Championship and has the inside track for a Playoff game.
Texas Tech 6-5 > 14.5 point favorite @Baylor (8) 9-2.
@Oregon (11) 9-2, 1st PAC12 North Division > Oregon St 7-4. Back to the Top 10?
@Auburn 6-5 > Alabama (3) 10-1, 1st SEC West Division. Duh.
Oklahoma (10) 10-1, 1st BIG12 > @Oklahoma St (7) 10-1, 1st BIG12. Excellent that one of them will lose, but Oklahoma St has a tiebreaker over Baylor and will keep it out of the Big 12 Championship.
@South Carolina 6-5 > Clemson (23) 8-3, 2nd ACC Atlantic Division. Duh, knock it out of the Top 25.

Non-Top 25:
1.5 point favorite Maryland 5-6 > @Rutgers 5-6. Bowl game for one of them. Go Terps!
@Temple 3-8 > Navy 2-8. Loser Bowl.
3 point favorite @Florida 5-6 > Florida St 5-6. Bowl game for one of them, but what a sad season finale for the 2 programs.
Charlotte 5-6 > Old Dominion 5-6. Bowl game for one of them.
At least the 3rd double 5-6 game of the day. Some games I have zero interest in.
24.5 point favorite @Appalachian State 9-2, 1st SBELT East Division > Georgia Southern 3-8. Will 10-2 get them ranked. Go Mountaineers!
Hawaii 5-7 > Wyoming 6-5. Get that Bowl game.

UNC basketball has 6 National Championships, 11 times in the final, 20 times in final four, rarely has missed March Madness, and ranked in top 25 297 weeks. Considered one of the most successful basketball programs ever.

UNC football is ... not. Five conference championships, the last one 40 years ago, some wins in minor or upper minor bowls, and a lot of mediocrity. The program has produced some major NFL stars, such as Lawrence Taylor, but has never been able to sustain any success.

I don't know why. By now, I don't care. It is what it is.
