I won't waste time rehashing the science that you blithely ignore. We rational people know that you are Q-inspired COVIDiots who will have to live with the fact that you have sickened kids and killed family members and staff. Masks will be required for HCPS pre-K through 6th-grade students, staff & visitors

Based on an increase in positive COVID cases and resulting quarantines over the past week in Henderson County schools, the Board of Education Monday voted 4-3 to require masks beginning Nov. 29 for pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade students.

The mandate – made during an emergency meeting of the board – will also apply to staff and visitors during instructional hours through the end of December. Masks will become optional again Jan. 1....

My career of treating patients has ended
After more than three decades as a physician, the Q maniacs have succeeded in driving me out of providing care to patients. I, like many of my colleagues, am moving into medically-adjacent work, where we can continue to apply our training and decades off knowledge without ever having to come in contact with sick people.

I've been able to deal with the years of patients who attended Google Medical School, and the hours wasted explaining things such as why cinnamon cannot be used to treat diabetes, or that garlic and beetroot can't treat HIV. And Lord save me from essential oils.

COVID and Q finally proved to be the one of theamateur "experts" that was too much for me.

Yeah I've read a bunch of instances of people asking for the vaccine after they've reached the point of no return.

I use a couple of occasional laborers who had refused until they read this. One has now had a shot and the other has an appointment.

My brother told us she says they are easy to care for, they just keep them paralyzed, they have to keep them paralyzed while they are on the ventilator, when they come in they pump them up with narcotics until they stop breathing, then they have top intubate them, they only have a few minutes to do this before permanent brain damage can occur and its a tricky thing to do, you can damage the vocal chords. Once they get intubated they put them on their stomachs, this can be uncomfortable, but it's required for COVID patients, they have a couple of patients in their 30's that will be discharged directly to nursing homes (permanent lung damage), they have a number of patients who have lost fingers and toes, even a few who have had their penises amputated, blood doesn't always reach the extremities.
She says if a camera crew went through the ICU, and they showed it on TV, everyone would be vaccinated, it's a horror show, and no one is getting the message out.

And they are all there by choice, they are there because they wanted to show Biden that he couldn't force them to get vaccinated.
Because they aren't sheep, they are men who can barely breathe, and still don't know that their dick got cut off."

Everything has become such a "my team vs yours" thing, that anecdotes like these from doctors and nursea start from a losing position by default.

The amount of people against vaccines is staggering. I remember when this was a laughable fringe movement. Now it's mainstream. I work with several people that are staunchly against the covid vaccine. These are otherwise intelligent people. I've talked with many people very much against the vaccine. It's mind boggling. Nothing will convince them.

They spend an hour reading through memes and maybe watching the occasional YouTube video and suddenly they've "done their research" and have mastered epidemiology and medicine.

It's hard to really care about them, to be honest.

I got a call from my sister tonight. Hadn't heard from her since before her birthday in June when I called her, got the answering machine, and she never called me back. As prelude, I will again state that sister is an evangelical enthusiast and a confirmed right wing nutjob. Anyway, she tells me that her husband just lost his job with Glaxo, Smith, Kline because he refused to get a covid vaccine. She also told me that 18,000 people have died from the vaccine and that she and the husband both take the horse medicine. The husband has probably 40 years with different pharma companies and they live in a $650K house. The stupid in all this is incredible. I made no attempt to challenge her on any of what she told me. It's way down the road and around the bend.
