On 4/1 we gave you 2 points when the game beat me. On 4/17 we forgot to do that. 34-37.
How the heck did you discover that?
For some reason I remembered the new rule that I proposed , and that I'd gotten recently skunked . The game pictures make it easy to rapidly scroll through a page to find the loser.

"Any revealed hints must be used in subsequent guesses"
Maybe I'm confused, but I've already been doing that except when I have a brain fart. I think that hard mode would make the game slightly easier for me because it wouldn't allow my rare brain fart guesses. I haven't read any forums, but maybe some people play the normal game trying to eliminate or ID as many letters as possible before making any actual guesses.

Same.
Guess it's the next day that becomes harder? Say, for example, your starting word is TEARS, and you get a yellow T and E, and a green S. When you play your next word, it has to use those three correct guesses, so you'll try the T and A in a different place, and the word must finish with an S.
In hard mode, you can't have TEARS as your first turn, then (with your three hints) try a word like CHUMP, which contains none of the same letters. You always have to go with the clues from the previous word
Eamus Catuli~AC 000000000101010202020303010304 020405....Ahhhh, forget it, it's gonna be a while.

"next day"?
That's what I mean. It never occurred to me that there might be an advantage to guessing CHUMP, but maybe there is for some people. I don't think my brain farts have ever helped me, but maybe they did and I didn't notice because I was too busy kicking myself.
You are the king of making lemonade from lemon-colored squares . Either we're pretty evenly matched in intelligence, literacy or whatever it takes to play this game . . . or it's largely luck . Still 34-37. 73 games, just a 4% margin.

Does looks little like a tray of lemon bars.
At that point there was only one place for the H so it kind of came together, I was only missing the I.
I'm not sure there is an intelligence quotient to be gleaned here beyond we have some.
