... Green has been largely unrepentant. In a campaign ad posted recently to her Facebook page, she calls Biden and Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “communist Democrats” who “hate America, hate God and hate our way of life.”

She would not succeed in passing any "mental health" standards applied to gun ownership.

First there was “gazpacho” police. Now Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has made another equally as amusing vocabulary flub in an attempt to get across her latest conspiratorial claim about Democrats and “fake meat,” which she says is manufactured in a “peach tree dish.”

I think she really is as stupid and uneducated as she seems. Someone playing a role would recognize when they're crossing the line into self-mockery - "Jewish space lasers ... gazpacho ... peach tree" - and dial it back a bit.

The problem is we live in a society where those most desperate for attention can say extreme things and run for and get elected to Congress.

She's groping for a culture war issue that pushes the right constituent buttons, but for her it's like trying to find a light switch in the dark

She must be talking about those people who dress up like good guys with guns, but actually turn out to be bad guys with guns.
