They do massive amounts of LAW every damn day. They have a propaganda television network that amplifies the LAW every damn day. They have used LAW lately to ban books, delete stuff from websites, strip universities of existing research grants, and even use LAW to punish major (real) law firms.GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:11 amLOLneoplacebo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:09 amI'll take "They'd much rather spew LAW (Lying And Whining) than do anything else" for six hundred.

A person seeking asylum isn't illegal, but don't take my word for it. Look it up. Probably even faux would explain that to you. I do favor the requirement for asylum seekers who are already in a safe-ish country to stay there pending approval, but that should be the law, not the fiat based on some self-created "crisis." Don't like the current law? Change it, but in the meantime, follow it.Supsalemgr wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 6:26 am
Your post properly explains why good vetting controls at the border are needed. Illegals do not need to be admitted until they can be processed properly.

As I understand what they have passed is an outline. Now the bill has to be written. That is where the difficulty comes.GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:11 amLOLneoplacebo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:09 amI'll take "They'd much rather spew LAW (Lying And Whining) than do anything else" for six hundred.

It's indicative of the poor quality of debate that after years of heated discussion asylum LAW still needs to be explained to MAGAts.GoCubsGo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 10:54 amLOLO Really wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 10:36 amA person seeking asylum isn't illegal, but don't take my word for it. Would you allow these asylum seekers in your gated community?O Really wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 10:36 amA person seeking asylum isn't illegal, but don't take my word for it. Look it up. NEW YORK (AP) — For more than a year, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has been busing migrants from the southern U.S. border to places like New York, Washington and Chicago, prompting angry complaints from Democratic officials in those cities.1 CAT FAN wrote: ↑Tue Apr 08, 2025 12:10 pmIdentity politics failed the left

After a couple of years of LAW if the courts have proved to be an impediment to MAGA's immigration schemes they will resurrect the Big Beautiful Immigration Bill. If it passes DonOld will take credit for it then resume LAW.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:18 amThey do massive amounts of LAW every damn day. Hell, as long as trump and his Republican suckophants are around, LAW (Lying And Whining) will never end. Even should every American live in a gated community in the future (like a state or federal prison) LAW will not be abandoned. At that point, it will be mandatory.Vrede too wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 4:43 pmGoCubsGo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:11 amLOLneoplacebo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 9:09 amI'll take "They'd much rather spew LAW (Lying And Whining) than do anything else" for six hundred.

You wouldn't be angry, would you? Your backyard is as good as anyone else's, right?1 CAT FAN wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 12:41 pmNEW YORK (AP) — For more than a year, Texas Gov. The mechanics were competent crooks.O Really wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 11:50 amThere used to be a common scam (and maybe still is) where disreputable auto mechanics (before they were "technicians") would "find" a "serious" problem that the owner is "lucky to have come in when you did." The so-called problem was because the guy had tweaked a carburetor adjustment screw (when there were carburetors) or slightly loosened a plug wire and the motor would run like a three-legged dog. The customer would be horrified to see how the car was running and soooo grateful that s/he didn't get stranded on some dark back road and hand over a lot of money to get it "fixed." If there is a more perfect analogy to Trump's game of creating a problem, exaggerating its severity and "fixing" it at great cost, I'd sure like to hear it.

No doubt about it. Even in the face of his statement the other day that "I know what the hell I'm doing." Right.....that holds as much credibility as "They're eating the dogs." What an idiot. China could teach the illegal immigrants how to prepare them. They cornered the market on the dog delicacy. Americans, especially women, treat pets as part of the family. China could invest in Pets R Us and branch out.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 10:30 amNo doubt about it. Even in the face of his statement the other day that "I know what the hell I'm doing."
