There is obviously a reason mainstream dems are avoiding Mohammed.
Religious bigotry and fear are as American as cherry pie, in a bipartisan fashion.
Not unexpected Vrede plays the race card. Nothing racial about opposing El-Sayed. His beliefs are enough.
I didn't post anything about race. It's his religious beliefs that he's being smeared over. To DonOLD and others Muslim = "jihadist", literally. Pay attention. Ftr, some xtian are victims of religious bigotry, too. That's how Americans are. Also, Muslims come in all colors. Didn't you know?
That said racism and "violence (are) as American as cherry pie."
(H. Rap Brown, a civil rights activist and chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), during a press conference in 1967.)
Thank you for playing the race card for me, SoupySales. It really is the same thing as the religion card being deplorably played on Abdul El-Sayed. Will Michigan voters stand for it?

It was unthinkable even ten years ago to call them into question. Results were respected by politicians and the peaceful transfer of power continued on unabated. I don't recall the mid term elections ever getting so much doubt thrown upon them before they've even occurred like the present day.
In comes Donald Trump casting doubt on any election resulting in a loss for himself with no evidence whatsoever. Who would've thought 10-15 years ago the president of the United States would be the one working overtime to undermine the democractic process in America. Never in my life would I have thought we'd have a bunch of nihilists running the country.
We're so used to it at this point that it's no longer an enormous, political career ending, scandal that the president is calling into question the democratic process. That in itself is pretty telling of how far we've fallen as a country.
It really began with Shrub vs Gore in 2000. Puke emoji

Be really shocking if SC turned as Andrews has not led in any poll, but the prediction markets have a dem victory up to 68%.
SHOCKING is a good description if it happens. Trump just finished a 90 minute babble that is a repeat in SC. This election is on Trump. He is responsible for the war with Iran. Like most presidents, he misjudged how difficult getting rid of the IRGC would be. It is hard for us to comprehend that IRAn is run by NUTS and their self-destruction is secondary to trying to destroy the USA and Israel.

It would also help it trump's hand picked candidate wasn't unprepared, unqualified and uninterested in actually doing the job.
Yet, she still might win.

They take the long view. One scenario is that Iran comes out of this as a regional powerhouse with semi-limited control over the Strait of Hormuz. We'll see, so far Dementia Don and NuttyYahoo are losing.

I think we can all relate more to a country being run by NUTS than we could have 10 years ago.
I have no idea how Tuesday’s results will turn out. I’m actually pretty ambivalent about it. Once again, I am sitting this one out. Although I am still fiercely conservative, I think a Democrat takeover on Congress wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. Quite frankly, Trump has brought all of this on himself.

Well at least we know what results we'll get in California and Hawaii. Happy Halloween, too!

A House Republican called the competitive Senate race in South Carolina "embarrassing," adding that incumbent Sen. Darline Graham (R) is "dragging Rs down the ticket."
"Republicans won this seat by 18 points. The fact it's this close and the speaker has to come to SC 1 to drag the R across the finish line is embarrassing," the anonymous member wrote in an exchange posted Thursday by Joe Khalil, a NewsNation senior congressional correspondent, on the social platform X.
... a recent New York Times/Siena University poll showed both candidates with 48 percent support among likely voters in South Carolina, a state that has not elected a Democrat to the upper chamber of Congress since 1998.
"Darline is dragging Rs down the ticket" the Republican member wrote, as recounted in Khalil's post....

Hey Cubbie!
Doing okay. Not much happening recently, which is good.
Recently binge-watched all five seasons of "Stranger Things."
