Smallest goverment spender since Eisenhower? Barrack Obama

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

You know the teabaggers are claiming credit for that, right? Obama rolling in 2011, sequester and all. They're claiming terrorism in politics is working even with losing on ACA.

Post all the graphs you want. Most Americans can do basic math, know the truth, and know that the national debt has almost completely DOUBLED under obama. In other words....BULLSHIT!!

You know you have to do math to make graphs right? That's where the data comes from. Perhaps most Americans can do math, you're just not one of them. Graphs do make it easy to see in this case, where the problem started.

I don't even know where he gets the 8 trillion from. Anyone figure that one out? Then he thinks there was only 9 trillion in debt the previous 200 years? I can wind it all the way back to 2000 and we were 26 trillion in the hole. :-0?>

The only thing I can figure is that he's deliberately confusing U.S. national debt, with U.S. total debt and using them interchangeably.

Deflection....as usual. This: http://www.usdebtclock.org/ was at 9 trillion when obummer took office. It now stands just shy of 17 trillion...17-9=8 Basic math to difficult for you idiots? So again, please explain how this: http://www.usdebtclock.org/ has nearly DOUBLED under Obama if he is the "smallest government spender since Eisenhower"

More deflection....why can you not answer a simple question. Even your own numbers show an INCREASE in debt....so one more time....how is Obama such a "frugal" spender when DEBT has increased on his watch??

One way spending can decrease and debt increase is if revenue goes down. Like when you cut taxes or have a recession. Of course none of that happened, so I can't imagine why.

First attempt at a serious answer but revenue receipts are at record levels. That presents a bit of a problem for your theory.

Deflection? You brought it up. I can't help you were wrong. Seriously, perhaps you should start by, you know, actually reading the article.

Only for 2012. Were down from 2007 until then. Here... maybe FOX can explain it to you. Read the entire article. Don't cherry pick. Even they don't believe just spending cuts will solve the deficit.

Still won't answer the question. Why not? If Obama is such the frugal penny pincher it should be easy but yet you continue to run away. Why?????

His tell is the use of "deflection," as though he understood what it meant. He uses it as a sort of "I don't understand any of that shit!" Picture Ruth Gordon as Ma in Every Which Way But Loose.

Internally he thinks he somehow proved the article wrong, and his fancy math that he deflected on with the national debt is correct.
