It was noted that the scammers:

• Declare that taxes are owed to IRS

• Threaten the recipient of the call

• Demand payment

So, don't be confusing these scammers with actual IRS agents, who:

The regional Internal Revenue Service office has reissued a warning about ongoing scam phone calls claiming to be from the IRS. According to IRS Seattle spokesman David Tucker, the scammers are calling taxpayers and demanding money and/or personal information. They even threaten pending arrest if their demands aren’t met.

Yeah, maybe some of them. Also those who might have tried to shave their tax returns a bit. Or those who think the IRS is out to get them because they're teabaggers.

Healthcare workers pay taxes to the IRS, too.

I did not know that. Meanwhile, I intend to go to work as usual and help subsidize the 47%ers that Mitt Romney so fondly spoke of. They need our help.

Won't be long before I'm one as well; or dead. Should I become one, I plan to still work as a part time wizard, associate jesus, or some sort of minister without portfolio on as needed basis in case by case situations. Isn't that just a peach of a plan? I like it.

The IRS estimates that it sent out nearly three million fraudulent refunds to con artists last year. And according to a new report from the Government Accountability Office out tomorrow, it cost tax payers $5.2 billion.
