This is touching; it reminds me of the young Catholic music director who is now serving something like 35 years for child porn stuff from Asheville a couple of years ago. The best part is that the head of that particular church was also charged with evidence tampering and other stuff like obstruction of justice, etc, etc. The only thing I can think of is that they just didn't have enough snakes.....or faith.

Judging from the fact that Phil was dumped from the show (albeit temporary) for speaking against gays, I would say his rights "were in peril"....
just as the rights of Kluwe's when he spoke in favor of the same subject.

No matter how you feel about homosexuality, pro or con, it's still a hot topic that is not the best of subjects to discuss in the workplace.

No, and that's a rather absurd comparison. Speaking over the PA, or making remarks to a customer, would mean that I'm at work, being paid,
and utilizing company property to voice my personal opinions. The same would probably apply if I were off the clock, but in the parking lot.

The company I work for, as well as the companies associated with the two in question are driven by the almighty dollar; they're afraid any negative
comments on the hot topic of homosexuality will keep someone from spending their money at their venue of business.

The homosexual issue is not only a "rights" issue; it's political as well, because the candidate/politician is afraid of the backlash and he/she is afraid
of not being elected/re-elected. Public figures do not have the "right" to speak their opinions openly, and I'm not talking about Constitutional Rights,
because of the venomous backlash from the liberal left and the homosexuals.

Personally, as you know, I feel homosexuality is wrong, not only from a religious standpoint, but the very act goes against nature itself.......
but that's my opinion, and if someone in a supervisory position at my work were to ask me, that would be my answer.

I too, am a despiser of racism and pedophilia. I repeat; I do not believe that homosexuality is normal; religiously or naturally.
