I'm not hostile, and I'm not changing anything the NOAA said, I'm in total agreement with NOAA. According to them, it hit Florida.
Just because you say it banni does not make it true. In the NHC Tropical Cyclone Report, Section A. The Synoptic History (of Ivan) Florida is mentioned TWICE as follows: First and as I already posted "which resulted in some of the strongest winds occurring over a narrow area near the southern Alabama-western
Florida panhandle border." and secondly "Even as an extratropical low, the remnant circulation of Ivan was identifiable in both surface and upper-air data. Over the next 3 days, the low moved south and southwestward and eventually crossed the southern
Florida peninsula from the Atlantic the morning of 21 September"
Hardly the talk of an organization who "according to them" is reporting on the strike of a Cat 3 hurricane. I was also mistaken on the second strike it was not as a tropical storm...it was as an extratropical low. My apologies.
