Very funny, you're claiming that a hurricane: "a storm with a violent wind, in particular a tropical cyclone in the Caribbean" did not hit Florida. Except, not only did it hit Florida, it hit it with category 3 winds.

Your objection to the matter is simply that the weakest part of the storm: the eye, did not touch Florida. That's an excellent case you have there, very convincing.

Just to clear things up for you...I have been referring to the map posted by "sometime lefty" in the below quoted post, which obviously incorrectly shows a FLORIDA LANDFALL.

Just a "google" would show he was right. These idiots are immune to facts. Two struck Gainesville but they were just tropical storm strength by the time they hit.

Only an idiot uses the exact center of an eye to determine where a hurricane went. Over 50 sections of I-10 over Escambia Bay were destroyed by the eye wall, shutting down the interstate for a few months, and requiring the complete rebuild of the entire bridge. I suppose Pensacola isn't in Florida.


When I was a kid we did "duck and cover" drills, if we had known then, what Ronald "knows" now, a hydrogen bomb dropped "just west of Gulf Shores, Alabama", wouldn't have effected us in Fla. Good thinking Ronald!
