And didn't I just get through saying:
Now, I know some here are going to go into Whine'nSnivel mode, and throw a tantrum over it:

Was that a Whine, or a Snivel, or both?

I won't bother being available for accepting indago's apology. It's clear that he's too much of an illiterate wuss for that.
To be fair, I didn't provide specifics or links; just a summary of the controversy and my opinion of it. But I did go to one of those fortune tellers today that I've alluded to previously; when I asked her if she knew I was coming in, she admitted she did not. Her name was Imogene Indago; her sign was impressive and colorful, but devoid of any sort of special insight or even basic comprehension. She also had numerous alliterative signs inside her shop that gave the illusion of clever abilities, but the entire experience was fouled due to the fact that she did not know I would show up today. I almost felt sorry for her; almost.

I don't believe those roadside fortune tellers have supernatural abilities any more than the circus ones do, but to be fair, they don't claim their seeing ability is limitless, and generally wouldn't begin until they have a subject/person to focus on. I do think some people are more perceptive/better listeners/observers than others, and if they're good enough at it they can get jobs with the California Bureau of Investigation, along with a hot girlfriend.

(I'll be dropping by soon)
I will be able to say I knew you were coming, then. Better get to work on my sign. :shifty:

Yeah, but if I were a roadside fortune teller, the first goddam thing I'd say to those who enter is "Most humble greetings. I knew you were coming today. How may I help you?"

Now, that doesn't look like an apology to me! I'm beginning to think that you guys are ungrateful that I gave you this heartfelt opportunity to apologize, and all I get are the WhineySnivels, and all ButtHurt over it.

I myself don't dwell on the past; it's over. I focus on the future, my hominy. And I see rats; rats as big as Buicks in a frenzy. Best find shelter, hominy boy.

Of course you did, and it's because you have a guilty conscience. You know you should apologize, but you won't because you are so dishonest. But you still have a chance to repent, and redeem yourself. Go for it!

 Let me tell you about honesty, hominy. I am so honest that being honest has in the past been to my own detriment. If you want somebody to tell you what you want to hear, I'm not your guy. I owe you nor anyone else an apology, and one will not be forthcoming. As for guilty conscience, well, that goes hand in hand with dishonesty. But I suppose you know that already. Cheers.

And besides that, who of any credibility is going to believe your cheap bullshit when the facts that I have posted are readily available? It's even written into the complaint filed with the court:
27. Based upon the aforementioned facts and circumstances, all of Jennifer's therapists and experts agree that for her psychological and parental well-being, she must relocate to a racially diverse community with good schools.

I'll be damned......and honest. I specifically said in one of my earlier posts that the women mentioned in your original story link were moving to a COMMUNITY MORE RACIALLY TOLERANT; NOT A COMMUNITY MORE TOLERANT OF HOMOSEXUAL COUPLES. What the fuck is wrong with you? By the way, I don't require or expect an apology.....apologists are losers trying to compensate for inadequacies.

Quick review: The parents (two women) were suing the clinic because the clinic had given them sperm resulting in a mixed race/black baby. They said that they loved their baby, but that having a bi-racial family caused them problems where they live. The underlying reason for those problems was the error made by the clinic, thus the lawsuit. They weren't suing because they were lesbians. They weren't suing to move somewhere more lesbian-friendly. Everybody where they lived knew they were lesbians before their baby was born. The only reason they needed to move was to provide a better more accepting environment for their baby, who wouldn't have needed any change except for the clinic's error. Nowhere in the lawsuit is it relevant that they are lesbians. Here's an article that doesn't even mention that they are lesbians, and cites some other instances of similar suits by other couples. http://www.medicaldaily.com/sperm-banks ... nic-306066

indago should write: "I'd like to serve as my own executioner in this case. I brought my own facilities."

Some seem to think you did. Are you saying you agree that their being lesbians is irrelevant to the story?

Sweet Supply side Jesus; is he about to finally admit it? The post was posted on the "homos" thread, not the "it's about race" thread. A possible miracle. However, I can't help but notice he didn't answer the question.
