ISIS is beheading innocent women, children, those opposing their views, and their defectors.
So you don't think that America should hold itself to a higher standard than ISIS? You don't think that it should be BETTER?

Here on this side of the world, we have whiners whining about torturing those thugs to gain information.
Again, you don't think that America should be better than tin-pot dictatorship torture states?
And since you're too clueless to notice: It's not really even the torture of terrorists and thugs that people are "whining" about.
It's all the innocent people who were kidnapped and tortured based on mere vague suspicions, many of whom were later released with an "er, never mind." And many are still held well over a decade later, despite being cleared of wrong-doing. And it's the lack of due process. The government has placed itself above the law.
Seriously, you don't think that when America is having people tortured with electrical cables and having their balls sliced open with razor blades - before clearing them wrongdoing - that a bit of whining is justified?
(Don't worry; no-one expects you to have the ethics or honesty to answer that.)
(And yes, America had people tortured with electrical cables and by having their balls sliced open with razor blades. It's not in the uncensored report, but both practices have been confirmed in court by government officials. This was done to people who were later cleared of wrongdoing.)

We're not talking about Republican refugees. We're talking about Muslims.
And before you call that a cheap shot, think about it: If you go out into the rural areas in Christian old world countries, eastern Europe and Christian areas of the middle-east, women aren't treated much differently. There too, the treatment is backed by the Christian holy book. Even in North America you only have to go back a century to find that women are chattel, with no voting rights.
Those are VERY rarely the sort of people - Christian OR Muslim - who emigrate to North America. Here in Canada a small group of Muslims called for sharia courts for their own people. They were shouted down - marches even held to protest them - by a much, MUCH larger group of Muslims who had had enough of that crap in the old world and wanted no part of it here.
(The upshot: They pointed out that Jews have private religious-based courts recognized by the Ontario government. Canadians went "Wait.... what?" and those courts were shut down.)
