Is Hilary done?

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Well, you've got me there.
OK, I agree. Snowden is an acceptable authority on theft of data and unlawful disclosure of classified information. If Hillary is caught intentionally disclosing classified information to the Guardian in order to cause harm to the State Department, I'll happily toss her under the bus.

I suspect that the worst could be intentionally risking disclosure of classified information harmful to the nation, and maybe not that. Even then, it matters how many in the middle toss her under the bus.

Thom's blog

According to one Michigan mayor, members of the DNC asked security to eject audience members who vocally supported Bernie Sanders during Sunday's debate in Flint Michigan.

Seriously.

Jim Fouts, a three-term independent mayor of Warren, Michigan, attended Sunday's Democratic debate, just like he had attended the Republican debate on Thursday.

Fouts told Buzzfeed News that the GOP audience was loud when he attended that debate on Thursday, and even though he wasn't expecting the democratic debate to be quite as rowdy as the Republicans, he expected to be able to express himself.

But after Sunday's debate he wrote on Facebook that "The Democratic debate is totally controlled by Hillarys [sic] good friend DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz. No commentary is allowed by the audience. Particularly if you are cheering Bernie Sanders. Persons who do not adhere to Hillarys [sic] rules are threatened with expulsion.".

He told BuzzFeed News that he was seated behind Wasserman Shultz and he was praising Bernie's performance and talking about how this debate proved that more debates were a good idea for the Democrats.

Then, during an early commercial break, Fouts and his assistant were taken out of their seats and the sergeant at arms told him that "The people that run this want you ejected, they don't want you here.".

Very poor word choice, but what he attempted to say is based in truth. Similar to the black lives matter slogan, which also expresses only part of the truth, this piece meal approach often causes more harm than good to a legitimate cause.

If I had to choose my starting point as poor black, or poor white, my best chance for escape from poverty would be as a white.

Oops, my bad. I checked to see if someone had already posted the photo; I missed your story.

I've seen situations like that depicted in the photo; believe it or not, I've never seen blacks living in beat=up campers and camper shells; I've only seen whites.

I saw some destitute sharecropper-esque black poverty driving through Alo'bama a few weeks ago. Towels as doors n stuff then on down the road is some big ol' mansions it was like that Neil Young song.

That would be because there is no bottom that is acceptable to the Hillary-haters. Just like the birthers and the Whitewater witch hunters that wouldn't give up no matter what they found. She engaged in practices that didn't follow procedure. Asked and answered. If they had anything showing an actual legal violation they'd have been beating her over the head with it for all of those 15 months.

... Clinton’s team has spent months casting the State Department inspector general’s office as overly aggressive and working hand in hand with congressional Republicans to cast the former secretary of state in the worst possible light.

That’s a very hard story to sell, given that the current inspector general was appointed by President Obama. It is, by the way, the same problem Clinton faces when she tries to cast skepticism on the ongoing FBI investigation. This is an FBI that is overseen by an attorney general — Loretta E. Lynch — who was also appointed by Obama. It’s tough to make the case that a Democratic administration filled with Democratic appointees are all somehow out to get the presumptive Democratic nominee for president....

IG's get paid to be picky. They're like OSHA on steroids and if they want to find something they will. It doesn't have to be politically motivated. To be sure, Hillary ignored procedure, but on a given day, the IG inspectors could write you up for having your "out" and "in" boxes on the wrong side of your desk.

Whatever, because of the IG it's not just GOP accusations anymore and we're not talking about Miss Manners' "picky" pronouncements. Hillary Clinton’s email problems did just get much worse, pending whatever the FBI does. Independents and many Dems care and you can bet GOP ads will effectively quote the IG. Hillary is very lucky that her opponent is as crappy and vulnerable as Trump. I'm not sure she'd have a chance of defeating a McCain, Mitten, Rubio or Kasich.

As long as the GOP quoted the IG accurately and not just "effectively" it would be fine - As If.
And sure, some Dems and Independents "care" and maybe she wouldn't have won against McCain if he had somebody other than Palin and probably not against Mittens. And she's not the perfect candidate for a variety of reasons. None of that means the email "scandal" isn't bullshit in the overall scheme of things.
