Hours after being confronted in Venice by protestors angry about the red tide outbreak on the Gulf coast, Scott’s Senate campaign canceled a planned stop in Collier County, Politico reported."
Seems there were "unforeseen circumstances."
"Scott also canceled an event in Santa Rosa Beach due to protests over a bill he signed earlier this year that could restrict beachfront access in front of private homes."
Now, if only a 76 year old ride along astronaut can beat him.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
I like it. I'll help it spread.
For the non-Floridians, Collier County is a major Republican infestation, and also is his personal residence at 3150 Gordon Drive, Naples. So a significant anti-Scott demonstration would be embarrassing to say the least. I can see why he'd wussy out.

Yeah, DeSantis is trying to get at least a couple hundred of the estimated 50-75,000 former Puerto Ricans who moved to Florida and will be eligible to vote. Trump probably doesn't know they are citizens or that they have TV's.
Convict escapes (walks away) from minimum security transition facility because he doesn't want to be released. Big manhunt for "escaped prisoner, convicted murderer, thought to be armed and dangerous." Nope. Not armed, not dangerous. Just wanted to stay in prison, where he has spent most of his adult life. Sad story, really, but at least he recognized he would have no life outside unless he returned to crime.

He is horrifying. Promoted people bringing guns to a town hall in case ...?
Also, (I like repeating this) when caught driving drunk, he threatened the cop, telling him that his dad was a state senator and would have the cop's job. He also refused the breath test, which, in Florida, is mandatory loss of license for a year.
All charges dropped.

Between 1999 and 2014, Gaetz received 16 speeding tickets in Florida. (Wikipedia)
"The American people are drowning in rules and regulations promulgated by unelected bureaucrats..."
He got that part right, anyway
Yo, Leo - real question, if you're up to it: If you really believe that "the American people are drowning in rules and regulations..." which ones in particular do you object to? And you might want to leave out the ones where the "unelected bureaucrats" are promulgating rule and regulations that they are required to do as a result of implementing a law passed by the elected.

Sounds to me like an admission of the extreme harm he did as a drug warrior. Bravo.
